God, I needed this. Greek mythology is an universe full of magic and impossible things happening at every corner -- I'm glad that I finally found an animatic that reflected the colorful spirit of the Wedding Song. I really think Hadestown needs a full-on animated adaptation.
Imagine sitting in a pub and a dude walks up to you presenting a dead flower and claiming (in song) he’s going to marry you I can image Hermes watching this go down and being like “hey buddy you missed a few steps”
Orpheus dancing as the wind surrounds him is so the Orpheus I imagined listening to the album and I physically gasped when I saw the flower come back to life, it so lovely being able to see everything like Eurydice falling for him with these absolutely adorable art style
i LOVE HOW WE'RE taking a greek Myth and giving it this southerner American modern vibe, It's pretty genius since the South is plenty religious and so it sort of combines too different worlds of magic.
What a spectacular animatic for these songs! Really captures the wholesome and whimsical energy of their contents, not to mention the power of Orpheus’ song. Keep up the excellent work!
I absolutely adore how Orpheous is alone in his "phantasies" for the first two parts, but after he brings the flower back to live, Eurydice is with him lying on the feathers for the last one, sharing in his vision. Makes my heart sing to see the hope and belief he installs in her (and it all ends well and wonderful and I will hear nothing else). ❤

This is an amazing animatic, you captured the song's vibes and the characteristics of orpheus and eurydice so well, and your love for this musical really shows in your channel, I can't imagine how much time and effort it took to make all these animations!

How are you able to post animatics with music you don’t own I really wan to post my own animatics but I don’t know how with out RU-vid taking them down because copyright I’ve looked for this answer everywhere but I can’t find it please tell me how you did it
Ya know, I finally found someone who snuck in a video recorder and uploaded a poor quality but recording of the play, and I was actually disappointed. Your animation was a lot more lively and exciting than the actual play ever was. They could’ve done so much more with the actual play performance, but it was just dull
