This is a first small excerpt from my new album "CIRCLE" (will be released in a few weeks ...). The working title of this song is "TRON" ... ;-)
Christian - or let's be honest - "the Ott" I got to know through Tiemo Hauer. As one of the legendary "guys from the Black Forest" he showed up at one of our rehearsals as a possible sub (substitute musician, if someone from the regular line-up is prevented). And what was fascinating about Ott - he could have substituted for any of us - besides guitar he also plays bass, drums, keyboards and probably just about anything else that is capable of producing sounds ...
So, as the original substitute on guitar, he became the regular bass player a short time later. And we all enjoyed touring with him very much. He is not only an excellent versatile musician, but also a highly entertaining conversationalist with whom you can "hang out" (or play backgammon, for example) in an outstanding way.
I'm very happy that after his contribution to "November" from album 1, he's involved in two songs this time and provides me with exactly the "timbres" and ideas that tend to remain closed to you as a keyboard player ... ;-)
