Since it's FINALLY actually Spring I figured we should do a little thrifting for spring trends video! I love doing these types of videos every season to show you can not only find cute clothes thrifting, but most trends have already happened so they are most likely at the thrift store! I thrifted a gingham skirt similar to that one but it was asymmetrical and so cute! Unfortunately at the time fitting rooms were closed so when I tried it at home it didn’t fit. I found a gingham dress later on that did fit and I can’t wait to wear it! Sometimes things don’t work out how you want but better

I about died when she passed on the cropped long sleeve in the beginning the and blue gingham dress. 😭 There aren't usually cute things at the thrifts near me, so it hurt a little. If anything I supply those 'good finds' when I donate my own stuff. I do think she managed to find some nice pieces though. Love the neutral gingham skirt and the blue cardigan.

Hey girl! I was watching your videos to fall asleep to last night 😂 and I heard you say in a declutter vid that you look back and regret getting rid of stuff. I thought a great vid idea would be going back and saying what items you regret and why they might potentially be timeless. I feel like it could help others make decisions when decluttering. Hi! For the pink blouse, I think you have to pull one "string" through the loop and then tie a bow with both strings! So you get a bow on the side of your neck! Love from the Netherlands 😊

H&M is one brand I literally always pass up in my thrift. Most are new with tags. I find the sizing really off and always have. That brand just doesn't work for my body type I guess. *But that color blue is one of my very favorites! (Also love how Alexa isn't scared to say gingham her own way after getting so many rude comments. You go girl.)

I didn’t know what the new trends were Alexa but they are kind of funny because they are basically: fashionable Big Bird (feathers, super puffy maxi skirts, jumpsuits and cutout trains) 😂 (you didn’t pick pieces that looked like Big bird though, so don’t worry hahaha

If you want to get an idea of pants/skirts will fit when you forget your measuring tape, try the neck test. If both ends of the waist fit around your neck and touch without a gap, it means they’ll probably fit. I was skeptical at first, but it usually works for me.

A miniature sewing(flexible) measuring tape on a keychain was the best purchase I ever made for thrifting. I found mine at a dollar store with the sewing supplies, it's about 1 & 1/2 inches long, light weight plastic so it isn't clunky like a hardware store version.

Watching these videos make me so jealous because American thrift stores look so good! There’s so many nice things in this video, it’s really hard to find things I like at the thrift stores here. Most second hand shops in my city are really small, like boutique size and they mostly have middle age/older women style clothes. My mum and gran find lots of clothes they like there. There’s only one big thrift store in my city and it’s a $2 warehouse. Everything (except a small section of higher priced items) is $2 which is really good but it also means there’s a lot of low quality clothes. Most of the clothes are old and worn or stained and just not in very good condition. It’s also just in a random warehouse which gets very cold in winter. They like absolutely pack the racks with clothes so it’s hard to look through them and they use these metal hangers that make your hands really dirty from going through them. Last time I went I left black hands and two broken nails. I got a few nice clothes for very cheap but the shopping experience wasn’t very nice and I had to look through a lot of clothes to find anything I liked. A,Eric’s thrift stores seem so nice in comparison. So many cute clothes!

I got the yellow one of the blue H&M cardigan and its my favorite. But if they had the blue I definitely would have gotten it over the pastel yellow one I have. But I still love mine.
