Barcelona has one of the most successful basketball teams in Europe. It's one of the oldest teams nationally and it had great success in international competitions over the years. Currently it's coached by Lithuanian basketball legend - Sarunas Jasikevicius. Barcelona BC played Zalgiris BC - one of the oldest teams in Euroleague, which even though in this game considered underdog. Is well established teams, that had previously great success in Soviet union league and later, in baltic , national leagues as well as 1 Euroleague trophy.
