This song! I can't stop listening to it! The Secret Garden is one of the most beautiful scores ever! And your performance gives so much! Stunning for sure!!
Her technique is so flawless and free. The expression and the fact she cares about others makes her already encompassing vocal and dramatic presence mean even more. I weep when I hear this all so pure form of expression. Thanks you Sierra. We are enough.
Sierra what a wonderful quote, I live in the mountains of NC and love to hike so I have seen trees which were bent in a full loop. Even then I never considered judging it I simply accepted it, likewise I and all of us should do the same with the most precious life of all...people. Thank you Sierra
I haven't listening to Sierra in around 5 years. I wasn't a fan of her. But now she's a much better singer; her voice is more rich and full. One of the things I like about her is that she don't denies the kind of voice she has, unlike many Broadway sopranos who try to sound popish and try to belt.
I'm singing this in voice lessons. For people who want to get right to the singing, it starts at 1:35 (ish technically around 1:37 but 1:35 is for preparedness and such.) Hope this helps :)
Clusters of crocus, Purple and gold Blankets of pansies, Out from the cold. Lilies and iris, Safe from the chill. Safe in my garden, Snowdrops so still. Come to my garden, Nestled in the hills. There I'll keep you safe beside me. Come to my garden. Rest there in my arms. There I'll see you Safely grown and on your way. Stay there in the garden, Where love grows free and wild. Come to my garden. Come, sweet child. Lift me up and lead me to the garden Where life begins anew Rest there in my arms. Where I'll tell you, There I'll Where I'll show you See you safely grown A new life, I will live for you. And on your way. I shall see you in the garden, I shall see you in my garden, Where spring will come and stay. Where love grows free and wild. Lift me up and lead me to the garden. Come to my garden, Come, sweet day!
Oh, my God this is so beautiful. The fact that she is drawn so strongly to wisdom such as the Ram Dass poem explains a lot. Sierra doesn't just sing a song, she uses her beautiful soul and voice to reveal and share its truth and we are all the better for it.
My aunt loves Secret Garden and gave us a cd for Christmas last year. Sierra is my hero, so it was so cool to hear her sing a song that is special for me. Beautiful as always, thank you so much!
What a beautiful way to introduce such a beautiful song! there isn’t a single song from The Secret Garden that doesn’t transport me back to being on stage as Colin in Wollongong, or away into a fairytale garden to listen in blissful peace.
She was incredible! I was in row C and I told my mom in the beginning "That's her! Omg she's RIGHT there!" Whispering of course 🥰🥰 Shw gave me chills everytime!
I believe that's her sister on the cello and thats why she looks at her with such love because shes normally hidden in the orchestra when she plays for musicals ❤❤❤❤
