Come with me to Championships! I vlogged pretty much the whole week and got some cool footage of the training gym, meet arena, therapy room, my hotel room, and of course me getting ready for the first day of competitions and my reaction after. Day 1 could have been worse so all things considered I’m grateful but I’m planning to do a lot better tomorrow. We’ll get all that on a part 2!!

I am a 2016 Olympic Alternate and former NCAA athlete and have deferred my senior year at the University of Utah to come back to elite gymnastics and try for a spot on the 2021 Olympic Team. This channel documents my journey and gives insight into the life of someone preparing for the Olympics!

You did amazing on day 1 and I'm happily looking forward day 2! Stop thinking about RU-vid, about Instagram, about this being an "End" and then you will stop rushing automatically. You're amazing, throwing some of the hardest skills in the world, a real competitor and so damn experienced. The last routine at the olympics should be your "End" and so many people are sure you can do this - think about that instead! Go Myk!! We love you and you've come so far!

"This is my last Championships..." That's the reason you keep rushing. Stop saying that, out loud and to yourself. Stop thinking about it. You've got the Vlogs, the training videos, to go along with all the broadcast recordings. You have more to reminisce with than ever before. BUT, this is going to End Here if you don't focus on what you have to do Here to get to the Olympics! This is a Competition, and you need to get your head back into the Competition and out of your "career", otherwise your career is going to be over. Been watching you for the last year and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to watch the training and struggle that goes into being a Gymnist and Olympic athlete. Pulling and Praying for you!!! Edit: Forgot to say this earlier.. Myk you said the same thing during Classics, and made the same mistakes. This is why I believe this is more than you making comments to us during your Vlog, I think this is in your head during the Meets. Stamp It Out! Your a Professional, Go out there and show the World what you've accomplished, and turn Everything else off in your mind until the Competition is Done! ~Luv!

@@Fandomonium456 the fact that this is the last time she'll ever be here IS a source of jitters and nerves. And she is not guaranteed a place at the Olympic Trials. Championships is the largest single metric used for choosing who gets invited to Trials. And it's a smaller number than those in Championship.

I was there! You looked great! Yes everyone is watching...so what? You do big gymnastics and you are great at big gymnastics! Don’t rush it...visualize your beam and bars routines- even your floor dance and passes...in slow motion...in your head...feel the rhythm while visualizing. Get in your space before you hit the competition floor. You got this big time! Don’t rush your routines...Always remember “I rock and I got this.. I can soar! And go for it! I’ll be there cheering you on!

I came from San Antonio to see you mykayla ~! Traffic was so bad I got in when you were doing the bars. What you do in person is nothing like tv. It’s so graceful. I didn't know a lot about you in the last quad, but man I have throughly enjoyed getting to know you, see your life, and see the behind the scenes of your gymnastics. You are just the sweetest, most down to earth girl ever. You don't get a lot from a 2 hour meet every couple of weeks in the spring/summer from the elite girls, so I have loved this youtube channel so much. I will admit that I was skeptical of your comeback, but after champ finals (With Simone, Sunni and Jordan pretty much being a lock) I considered who would best fit the fourth spot and I think that you have the best chance! Especially given your wealth of comp experience and your difficulty, I think you might be the safest bet. If you show up to trials and really hit your routines, I think you could easily get that last spot!

Aahhh, so proud of how far you've come!!🤩 Regardless of what happens, I think you should be proud for how much you've done for yourself, coaches, and your fellow national team members. If Tokyo won't work in the end, I believe you should keep your head high for worlds in Copenhagen this October, and make achievements and goals for yourself, getting more and more experience! Whatever happens is what happens, but you've done so much towards the U.S team 😊

SKINNER! You didn't talk about your bars. You hit every handstand. Be aggressive on day 2. Just like day 1. Your only issue was some leg separations but those handstands deserve so much credit. Be proud of those.

Just wanted to say wow. I subscribed to Flo here in Canada so I can watch. I was able to watch your podium training and you were awesome. You hit the beam routine with a vengeance. So proud of you. I also loved your bar routine at competition. I get a little upset when Flo doesn’t show when you’re on grrr. But I’m watching. You’re doing great and I’m really routing for you. You did amazing! Beam is Beam. No matter how prepared you are sh*t can happen. It's a weird event, where we can't try to make it "different" or "better" because it's a meet, just do normal! You got this! Love following your journey and will miss watching your gymnastics.
