The gardens of Paris make me want to visit even more. The French really had their priorities straight when they designed their beautiful city. I know I'll never want to leave.
I feel fortunate to have found your channel. My husband and I are planning a trip (our first as a married couple of 31 years) to Paris just after the Olympics this summer. We anticipate it will be quite busy, so our goals are simple - to walk around, discover the parks and find a few cafes. Your videos are wonderfully inspiring as you focus on the things that I really want to see. Thank you! 🌞
Thank you for taking me back. I went to the D'Orsay and realized the garden was right across the bridge so I walked through it. It is enormous and I was having internet troubles and had trouble finding my way out. lol. I was there on a Sunday in November and managed to find a little sun in an otherwise cloudy and rainy visit.
Thank you so much for taking the trouble to go out in the rain to film this: rain makes the greenery wonderfully lush plus there’s NOTHING nicer than walking round Paris in the rain - just magical. I just wondered why the self-professed ‘English bookshop’ has an Italian name? More research required, methinks…….
I have been a member for several years and love, love it!! (But I like any and every library.) You don't have to be a member to attend events, so if something interests you and you know you'll be in Paris, sign up!! Another great organization is The American Club of Paris. Very informative and lovely speaker lunches!!
Lovely video from you. Thank you so much! I really hope you do a post on your visit to Provenance. I’d love to see your viewpoint to visit there next time I’m in France. Hope you’re having a great day on reading my comment 🥐🌹😊 🇫🇷
Beautiful... 😍I love being out in nature, it's very grounding and humbling, any time of year. Thanks for sharing your Parisian adventures!! And you could always take me on a confectioner adventure, too!!
Hi, have just started watching your video’s, and love them, you are so nice to listen to and watch, a natural. I love Paris as well, but have not seen the things that you are seeing, I normally just see galleries La Fayette, and not venture too far, it is such a huge city to get around I find.but you have the ideal place to have an apartment and can stay as long as you wish. I look forward to seeing more of you video’s and best wishes to you Pamela hall
Hello Pamela, thank you for your comment and when you go to Paris, venture further...as long as you know where the Seine river is, you can find your way back to your hotel.
Oh , so enjoyed this! Not only the beautiful garden , but the excitement of the Olympics , the lunch with your friend; the venue looked so beautiful, the Dior windows and the bookstore. More importantly, your message about making your dreams a reality. I think it was serendipitous that you read that beautiful book dedication / as we can all mother and nuture ourselves to make our dreams come true. I hope you enjoy Provence. ❤
Thank you for taking us on your adventure. I am keen to check out the bookshop. So many gorgeous bookstores here in France but not being able to read French I feel a bit mournful every time I enter them. Galignani looks wonderful!
Hi there, what a great video. I am coming to Paris for the first time in September and would love to visit some of these shops and cafes. Where is this area of Paris. I am staying in the 8th arrondisement if that’s any help. Thank you so much.
Thank you for the lovely tour of the area. By the way, I live in an area that needs rain -could you possibly come and video here? Mind, it's Canada, so it's a bit of a journey. Merci!
Thank you for another enjoyable video, I enjoyed learning about the Tuileries Garden in Paris. I felt like I was spending time with a friend for the day out in the Gardens.
