Loved this conversation so much! I do have to say. I am an elder Gen Z and my dad was in his early 50s when I was born, he changed nearly all my diapers. He told my mom go to sleep and rest during the night so he could take care of me and make sure I was OK. I feel so fortunate that I had a father like that. But at the same time you know I feel like everyone deserves to feel like they can do that. So it makes me feel almost guilty that I had a good dad in that sense! I really hope this next generation is more dads that embody that mindset❤

For the convo at the beginning of the podcast: when I think of “influencers”, I think of people who are influencing their audience to buy things from certain brands and they mainly make their money from brand sponsorships and affiliate marketing. When I think of content creators, I think of them as a brand themselves and they mainly make their living from selling their own merch, books, or selling tickets to their events, etc. That’s the main difference for me.

My autistic nephew who we were all told when he was young that he was always going to be non verbal and they even floated institutionalization absolutely loves Trey Kennedy! It took a lot of different types of therapies and work from the parent but he surpassed everyone’s expectations! He even got to attend regular public school (with special aids) and he loved it. When he came across Trey’s “middle schooler be like” videos, he instantly became obsessed with with them and it was the first time I really got to see what resonated with him in a humorous way. He doesn’t really understand jokes and humor was hard for him but he saw some of himself or his school buddies in those videos and he just thought it was the most hilarious thing in the world! Because he couldn’t tell jokes, he would tell the story of the video when he wanted to be funny or engage in conversations where people are joking around and having fun. He still quotes those videos today and he’s 23 years old. He became obsessed with RU-vid and he uses the funny videos he see on RU-vid to make people laugh! He’s currently on a kick of saying “my names Jeff” in the voice or” island boys” at certain times. He does it so much his mother gets annoyed and yells at him (it’s kinda an act on her part) and he finds it absolutely hilarious! His timing at times is so good you just don’t expect it! Thanks Trey for being a clean comedian that my nephew can look up too! You are by far his favorite RU-vidr of all time!❤❤❤

Yes!💙 I think it takes way more effort to make clean content and clean jokes. Love & appreciate it! I feel dirty jokes are cheap shots because you are pretty much guaranteed a laugh. IMO, 50% will laugh because it is funny; the other 50% will laugh due to being uncomfortable/awkwardness.🤷🏻‍♀️ Same; I just can't with "R" rated films. PG-13 is even stretching it depending on the content😂
