Hahaha Hi Rednek! I'm glad you're enjoying the Orion BP they're a brilliant little rifle aren't they? The Cometa's are fantastic rifles which is why I've tried to put them in the limelight a bit more as they deserve so much more attention. That's why I give the Norma's away, they're fantastic pellets aren't they mate? They do a 9.1grn Heavy now as well which is a cracking pellet and well worth getting your mitts on. Thanks Reg! They're a brilliant rifle the Fusion and it's a toss up between the Fusion and the USC for my favourite Cometa rifle. I don't know if you take it down the range or not but I bet it gets a few looks when you do haha.

Hey Casper! They're pretty damn good aren't they? The Cometa rifles fly straight under the radar here in the UK and it's such a shame as so far they've all been top performers and that warranty like you've said is unbeatable.

Hi Mark and Mrs Homer! Hahaha that's excellent I'm glad you both hopefully enjoyed the reoview. Be careful Mark.. one thing I've learned from letting customer's have a play with a few rifles is that women are naturally gifted shooters. It might be worth hiding those rifles before the pride gets damaged. Regarding the airgun bug and how it bites all I say to people is... look what it did to me, it's damn lethal!

Hi Ray. Those USC's are brilliant little rifles aren't they? I still don't know how Cometa made them as easy to cock as they are as they should be as heavy as sin considering the barrel length. Have you tried any RWS pellets through it yet? I'm noticing a trend that these barrels love RWS.

Hi Richard. Thanks ever so much for the comment and I'm glad you enjoyed the video! The Orion is a fantastic rifle that sneaks under everyone's radar. Compared to what you've listed I'd still put the Orion at number 1 although the Scorpion is a very nice rifle. The Hortitsia is a nice rifle but I'd make sure you got one chrono checked before picking it up and the Rotex can be a tad heavy for some. When it comes to overall spec and handling I genuinely feel that the Orion is the king of the hill in its price bracket (although the Benjamin Cayden looks beautiful and don't forget the Kral Puncher Pro 500). Decisions decisions eh Richard?

@@bigdansairguns83 Thanks Dan , problem is , if I had that sort of money I'd probably spend it on a Pro sport or a TX 200 and a really nice scope , Springers are the thing that set My heart really pulsing , but some of these PCPs particularly the Orion are just so gorgeous to look at and caress , but they just lack that " Springer thing " maybe it's the recoil or maybe it's just the challenge ? who knows . I do like to cover every corner with our reviews if I can and be as honest as physically possible even if it means nit picking. We usually don't review FAC air rifles as they're only a niche crowd here in the UK. Hi Louis! That's a difficult one as there's a ton of great rifles out there at that price. If we're sticking with new and you want max power and accuracy my bets would be on the Cometa 300 or Fenix, HW99S and the Hatsan 60S. Honourable mentions go to the Remington Sabre/Express and if you can get over the budget trigger... the XS38. Thanks Louis and I hope this helps!

Hi Luke! Thanks bud I'm glad you enjoyed it. At £650 the competition is definitely stiffer but I'm not seeing any real competition to the Orion. Accuracy wise I'm very confident that it will beat most other rifles out there, I genuinely rate the Cometa barrel and would put it against any other barrel on the market. The only rifle in my eyes that would be a really great competitor to the Orion is the Air Arms S410 which is £100 more expensive and lacks a regulator. Not that I'm slagging off the S410 they're a fantastic rifle and in my opinion the benchmark for all other PCP's to be tested against.. they're also a damn pretty gun. Regarding the company I actually rate Cometa when it comes to customer service above most other brands as they'll actually offer a lifetime warranty. In this regard they're leading the pack in my opinion. Cheers Luke!

Hey SND. I'd be interested to know what makes you think that. The overall performance and build of the Orion is top drawer not to mention the warranty. I think the AA may have the slightly better trigger but off the top of my head that's all I can think of. Cheers SND!

Hi Adrahc, apologies for any confusion it's a regulated rifle as mentioned it comes with a Robert Lane regulator.

Probably down to the usual reasons . More expense !, also I think Daystate have the market patent on the slingshot hammer system . so unless Cometa buy Daystate or Daystate buy Cometa that's unlikely .

Hi Jerry! It's the issue with shooting outdoors unfortunately you can get unpredictable conditions. I'm also victim to only being able to film when I can. My biggest regret is the Cometa USC and Fenix video.. the weather was appalling but I didn't have much choice.
