Haha there was a heated debate between Atlas and Lovejoy this year (we always name our bots after active comets), and you guys did actually come up with your 2018 season (fantastic bot that year btw)
Amazing robot and video. Only thing I noticed was that it sliped a bit while driving a curve with some speed. Made me wonder: Does it slip easy and how easy is it to control?^^ What wheels do you use? :)
Yeah of course - we use a custom-modeled 540T 20DP VEX gear using a calculator in Onshape, and then bring the model into Solidworks as a .step. The model is then made into a "pie slice" with added slots for our shoulder bolt-bearing runners to be accessible and a flange to mount the inner polycarb panel. We print the gear out of PETG with 5 walls and 25% infill, and haven't really had many problems.
