By far one of the best covers I have seen, this guy is damn good, all the beautiful nuances of this solo he has it down, very well done, so many other great guitar players don't even come close to recreating this solo as well as he does.

This musician is accurate and gets the right tone in all his tutorials. I was stoked to see he had done these Pink Floyd vids. RU-vid has many useless "how to" vids by guitarists trying too hard to be funny or rad. Alexandre delivers a solid performance and excellent lesson. Boom. MUCHAS GRACIAS AMIGO!

Was it hard to learn and have you got any tips? I'm a beginner but played acoustic guitar about 4 years ago for 5 years or something so I got experience. Will I be able to learn this fast? It will be my first e guitar.

Many thanks for this tuto and the 100% respect you gave to the original studio version of the solo. this tuto was really helpfull for me to understand all the Gilmourian finesses of this solo while I'm trying to learn it without any approximation. Perhaps I would recommend to "put a click" with the 15 licks details show, because it's important to understand the notes' flow as well as the notes high. Anyway, I made a lot of progress thanks to you

I would like to suggest that you move the tab and notes up just about a half height of teh whole bar because youtube's video controls block it...and don't go away when it's paused.

its an insanely difficult solo to learn. Iv been practicing this for a very very long time, not far off but its the pace i struggle with (not suprising) haha good luck to everyone learning this, because if you can, you have learned amazing skill. Thumbs up for standard notation, measure numbers and no excessive talking. One step better would be chord labels so that you can see the notes in harmonic context.

There’s a missed pull off on the tab in lick 6. It’s right after the half step bend on the 9 of the G string. From 9 to 7.

Learn a lick, play it two or three times, then play it again with the original track playing. it's quite a long process, but it allows you to memorize each lick and to feel it with Gilmour's mood
