Very good ideas. Bubble Bath sounds amazing. I take a bath every evening so that is definitely my vibe. I love the bottle of YSL Libre however I can't abide lavender. I took a walk yesterday and passed a lilac bush - that was such a simple, happy smell. Cheered me a bit.
I find rose uplifting in an aethereal way, sublime. Lavander in calming, peaceful but introverted, introspective. Vanilla to me is safe, makes me feel fed, full, whole. The citrus notes are happy cheerful, especially orange, such a happy note! Since I am into perfumes i wear it all the time, at home especially, where i am not afraid of bothering anyone. Coconut is comforting and cheerful as well. Mhhh jasmine is deep, dreamy, pear is fun and trustworthy, apple is trustworthy too and joyful and clean. Patchouky makes me feel grounded and sheltered. But I have to say that also the smell of good food cheers me up, arrosto or aglio olio e peperoncino. Curry yeah! Herbs! Red onions cooking with sauce! Hugs from Milano!
For me Libre is loud, not calming or comforting at all, but everyone has their preferences. I agree with every other perfume you recommended. Also, I was thinking of blind buying elie saab 's perfume and with this video I'm sold! 😊 the pillow spray seems like a good idea too!
Thanks Sophie! Your videos are always so uplifting to me you’re so sweet and bubbly 💖 Just wanted time know if you can maybe do a video on scented candles and something that really fills the air with a nice smell - I see you have a candle burning in the back ground. Thanks so much - I love all your reviews and our perfume tastes are so similar 💓
For me, it's Pure Musc by NR (fresh laundry!), Mon Guerlain, and Jo Malone Myrrh & Tonka :). I'm dying to try Bubble Bath, I'm such a sucker for coconut. And still on the fence about Blooming Bouquet, it is amazing but the price point thooo. Loved this video, and love the series! Really nice concept :).
Thanks for uploading new videos so often! I bought a perfume my mom used to wear when I was a child just so i can spray it on my wrists (sometimes i do wear it) because it reminds me of my mom and i talking for hours after her 12+hour shift/me falling asleep on her pillow while waiting🙈 ck in2u for her will always smell like a loving hug from mom!
I don’t have mon Guerlain because it gives me a headache but I do have Paris nights by layered and that doesn’t give me a headache so I may wear that today
I did not like the Elie Saab and my coworkers didn't like it either. it was sharp n headache inducing. way toooooo much. Over the top honey n orange blossom. Kinda hated it.
hi soki.i love ur youtube channel as i myself is so much into perfume.i love the smell of peach and cherry especially for shower gel like johnson baby peach bath... can u make a review perfume with peach and cherry and which one is ur favourite. and also, u have so many perfume, maybe u can let go and sell some of the perfume that u dont need anymore. so us perfume fans can get the chance to buy authentic perfume at better price. living in the other side of the worlds means, with tax and shipping and other handling cost, perfume price here is exorbitant.i'll be happy to buy a perfume from you at a good deal of price...perhaps some perfume that u just spritz for 2-3 times and leave it forgotten in the closet for a year.thank you and stay safe and healthy
Great video as usual. Please make a video about your favorite chypre perfumes and favorite unisex perfumes. Have you tried terre d’hermes eau de toillet? I, asking as I am eyeing it
Every day I'm torn between wanting to wear my favourite fragrances to make me feel safe and relaxed, and not wanting to associate them with this sad time...
@@SokiLondon BTW, I'm from Italy and we've been on lockdown since the end of February. That's why I don't want to wear my faves, because once this situation is over I don't want them to remind me of this time.
@@charlieagron2638 I know exactly what you mean. I went through a very bad time about ten years ago when I was wearing a Ralph Lauren fragrance. To this day that fragrance pings me right back to a dreadful time, even though it's my favourite fragrance ever. Wishing you all the best, I hope Italy has got through the worst now although a long way to go for everyone unfortunately.
Hey Soki!! Would you say that miss dior and miss dior blooming bouquet have a spicy quality to them? I have heard that described and I do like a spicy element to my perfumes. Also my comforting scent has been for the most part Narcisco Rodriguez in the black bottle, and bronze goddess.
I am wearing more perfume now because it makes me feel happy :) Have you tried the new miss dior edp? I like the miss dior cherie version, are they similar or is it closer to la vie est, coco mdamoiselle etc?
The new Miss Dior EDP is not like Cherie. It's more powdery in my opinion, more like soft and sweet. I used to own Cherie and I love it so I bought miss Dior absolutely blooming as the closest to the old version.
