That comic is CGC graded NG which stands for “no grade”. It’s the lowest possible grade you can get on a book. Notice he says “a copy”. Not “my copy”. That shit’s like $10k tops.

NG standa for No Grade which means it has a reprinted cover, is a married copy or worse. The value of that comic is a LOOOOT less than a Bugatti. Please don’t comment on things you are ignorant on. The one that sold for $5 million was graded an 8.0 (which is a high grade for a book from 1939) this copy is NG which stand for No Grade. They are not even close to the same value.

I bought this comic book back in 2008 when i was in 3rd grade this was my favourite superman comics. I have it still preserved in my shelf as my childhood memory.
Its literally being judged by its cover though, if you open the "book" it damages the covers, which lowers its grade which in turn messes with the judgement of price... so in this case you're literally judging a book by its cover lol

My grandfather gave me a dearth Vader action figure from when the original movie came out I guess they ended up being like 700 dollars when he gave it to me but 8 yo me thought oh he gave me a toy the look of disappointment when he saw me playing with it was bad

That’s Action Comics 1 which is the 1st appearance of Superman and the 3 printings were Ashcan editions not 1st editions. Ashcans are created for the purpose of copyrighting the title. This is Superman 1 which is the 1st book Superman headlined. Though Superman 1 in the video isn’t worth 5 million anyway, it’s an NG(No Grade) whereas the one worth 5 mil was an 8.0 once owned by Edgar Church
There’s actually a few different styles depending on which country in the Middle East, usually the biggest difference is the collar design. But generally the main part with so many different styles is the head wear (ghitra)

A life changing hobby I was poor I’m not a sheik but comics made me rich and happy I love seeing that comic fans are as diverse as the characters in the pages.
Time for comics thatll never be opened 😅 it all ends up locked away. I collect pokemon cards and ive got stuff i never get to look at or use but i know its going up in value by the day. Its just what collectors do.

There are people starving, people without access to clean water, people without an education, people without a roof over their heads. Yet this man, like many others, wastes his wealth on items which in the grand scheme of things, are worthless. The difference between his comic and a Bugatti is that the comic will keep gaining value, and the car will depresate I'd take the comic over the car any day
