For those who don't know the story: Robert Crumb actually traded his sketchbooks for his house in France. He's an amazingly skillful artist but his aesthetic sense is usually too disturbing for me. But the Terry Zwigoff documentary CRUMB is one of my favorite comics movies ever. Anyway, Love these comic hunt videos and quite jealous because I have no friends into comics and never go to stores any more.
I also have that Omega Men #5 which always killed me because I actually bought it off the shelves when it was released and yet as always never even saw #4. When I realized it was the 2nd app. of Lobo I looked it up expecting some value, but they still just sell for $2-3. Maybe that will change one day.
robert crumb stuff is so undervalued!!! i mean, dude is the grandfather of the underground scene. not to mention Fritz the Cat who got his own hit animated movie back in the 70's. Been looking for the metamorpho brave and the bold myself great find!
My LCS won't be open this week. Vacation. I might head down that direction weather permitting next weekend. If not I have a couple of Lehigh Valley stores to hit. Great finds from all...... All day!!
Great hunting with friends! Some buddies and I try to do a comic crawl every few months. Last one was shops in Maine, our next one is planned for Massachusetts

I too have been hunting with Joe. He is a dollar bin gold digger. He’s able to find some awesome stuff in there. I am getting increasingly jealous of your Green Lantern keys.

Happy for you on picking up the Green Lantern key, for a 5.0 the cover presents really well from what I could see, always fun to hunt with a buddy(buddies) , took me back to when I used to hunt Hip-Hop vinyl …Reese’s cups all day!! Lol
I can’t get over the rings I just find it funny that James is talking about all these comics books but just has these rings that stick out. I can’t talk thought I water the black lantern ring all the time

Ya the place i usually go to for my dollar bins is in a flea market and the guy is retiring this weekend but he said he will still be around for local events and show up every now and again
When I go from Canada here and make it 300 KM to visit family in hopbottom I’ll have to venture an extra 150KM to check out this comic shop because why not ahha

I've been on the hunt for X-Men #5 myself, been looking for it for so long my girlfriend got me a freaking shirt with the cover on it for Christmas 🤣 what a find.
You guys have better Comic shops. The one here around me. Dollar bins don’t exist. And all keys and spec books are behind a jewelers glass. And have to ask to look at the stack.
