PLEASE HELP I formatted it to free up memory, now it's not recording in the internal memory anymore, WHAT TO DO?

I never tried that. Odds you formatted the memory to the wrong type. For instance maybe you formatted to NTFS format rather than Fat32 format. Basically change the format type "should" fix this

Just bought this and found out you cannot adjust the internal recording levels. They are intentionally set lower too. So unless you want to adjust it in post and get crappy sound the internal recording is basically useless. I think I will be returning it.

@@DurandsDesigns you do know DJI mic and several other brands are exactly the same. Oddly Fulaim X5 which is super cheap and has good sound quality when adjusting the volume of the device also changed the volume of the internal recording and I specifically show that in my review of that mic system. I purchased and used nearly every internal recording mic that exists.

@@DurandsDesigns comica was pretty mad at me for my reviews of "this" mic due to the issues I mention in this review. The non-pro I Reviewed has better battery life, had more consistent reception and less interference than this. I liked the original boom-X D2, and used it for years. I mainly use my Hollyland Lark Max for an internal mic system at this time.

Great video. Do you happened to know the audio bitrate? Amazon states 24bit but other places say 16 bit.

From the manual of Comica 16bit 48khz. This is the first and only review I didn't record the bit rate of and tested every single internal recording microphone I know of other than a Lensgo with a messed up sample rate that lines up with no camera If you didn't know there is zero sound difference between 16bit, 24bit and 32bit from strict audio sound without editing. I discuss and show that in my newer videos BUT when boosting audio from low levels beyond 14Db it becomes important to avoid having 24bit audio hiss to about 27Db. The Fulaim X5 great sound 16bit and Godox Verso M2 also 16bit and yes reviewed here. This is probably the first and the last internal recording mic I missed showing the bit rate of the internal recording in a review video. I also hated the interference from other devices, I used the non pro far longer than these. The non pro did not get interference from other devices and had better battery life.

@@sparketech Thanks for the well detailed explanation! Judging by your answer the mics are just meh! For the price do you recommend something similar in price? Other than the rode go 2 lmao. Everyone is using that.

@@Mr.C0ffee You should see my Hollyland Lark Max vs the Rode Wireless Go II. The Hollyland sounds better and is more consistent between devices. However I still own the Rode Go II and the Hollyland Lark Max both have their advantages and disadvantages as discussed in my second newest video. I know a lot of people that found the Rode Wireless Go II didn't last long before failing with issues. The Go II it is more forgiving where placed on you and the fir muff works better. My Go II I accidently disconnected it from the receiver within days of getting it but luckily got it paired back. Another viewer got the dual and it disconnected refused to pair correctly ever again. The DJI mic really nice BUT picks up every single sound even what you barely hear. It ruined my life using it in untreated rooms but in nature it is the best of the best for sound quality... and doesn't work correctly out of both speakers with iPhone lightning without mod using a USB C adapter with an adapter to lighting. For such an expensive mic the DJI mic direct to camera had high self noise. Use case matters most for your question. If price point is important the Fulaim X5 is insane sound for the low price. Saramonic Blinkme is the coolest mic but Saramonic has yet to release a firmware to fix the bugs to make it the most amazing cause the design is sooooo cool.

@@Mr.C0ffee In case you wanted to see my more recent Hollyland Lark Max video where I talk about bit rate and the Wireless Pro. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4AxPzvVp_64.htmlsi=Ie5-PwIIjQxhxhvC

@@Mr.C0ffee for the Hollyland if you cut the plastic opening flaps to a full circle opening that alone should help a lot for the Hollyland wind muffs.
