This is the new version 2 with DUAL Recording wireless mic system from Comica BoomX-D2 Pro. 2 Wireless Microphone Transmitters with 2 lavaliers going into 1 Receiver. The best thing is, you can control the gain independently for each microphone. Very enjoyable and useful review Ray - the Comica seem to be fully featured and have onboard recording, handy as I sometimes go for a walk with the drone following me, so that is probably the key decider to these over the new Cominca Vimo C. Subscribed and off to Amazon to spend some £££ (or $$$ I guess :-) )

@@RayValencia It's available in the UK - being delivered by Amazon today :-) The sound is a little higher/brighter from the Comica from your video, but I'm a bedroom music producer, so just sort that out with an EQ - got a cool one called SMART EQ3 from Sonible which does the trick nicely :-)

I just expanded on this mics set today, with the new Comica VM30 Wireless Shotgun Microphone: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-04nCbBq1UvY.html I was able to pair one of the Transmitters of the BoomX-D Pro with it too. And thanks, I just invented a new way to do a range test in this video too, lol!!

@@RayValencia heck ya I do!! At least till Mid August. I might be going tomorrow with a creator friend of mine that is flying in from Minnesota @kylewattstv ….just depends if he has the budget. He flies in at 11:30am tomorrow and if we go it will be straight from the airport. Yes looks like a great new mic! Very cool. My main mic right now is the ecm-b1m no cables is nice and that auto mode is just so convenient.

Oh I was searching for the Video To THANK You for Your Review and I had no Choices because Deity only one mic, no backup, or onboard storage of recording, despite STILL Loving the Audio Signature in that One from the Videos Compare and sadly Couldn't Go Both for Now, and went with the Comica X-D2 Pro, because 360 camera Websites were messing around playing some sick sadistic games, and I had few more attempts on my Life, so skipped that bought this, because I thought since Onboard Saving Option Means, Can Use each device in the kit individually without Phone and Laptop, Just press record on any of the modules and and it will save? Or have to Mandatory Turn on Receiver whether Using One or Two mics not just the mic alone power on followed by Orange Button 3 to 5 seconds press looking at the screen for the blinking Rec dot? But the Settings and Modes Concept I'm Still Not Getting In What Use Case Scenario, And Modes Makes Which Mic Record because that's Confusing and I don't know which option to select and if mandatory the receiver has to be turned on to record audio on the move for longer duration in rotation. Could See that despite Gain adjustments the monitors level bar on the mic wasn't moving Much! So want to confirm if I'm doing something wrong or If the device is faulty or I need to switch off safety to stereo or mono mode? So Now, I'll Need another Thorough Video from You Explaining How One Can Use Each Transmitter&Receiver Individually, as Audio Recorder, How to Save Audio Used as Safety Backup of other Audio Recorder on the Move! They're Hacking and not letting My Laptops Turn on So I Can't Even Test the functionalities and if it's actually recording anything! So Please Do Clear My Doubts if you Can! The Battery Backup looks to be on the lower side though in the real World hence I'm thinking of using Individually on rotation will need to get another Battery Bank as well as they've hacked the 40000mAh battery Bank I bought so it drains in like one charge of anything! Your Guidance could sure help on a full usage methods of the Comica!👍🏼🙏🏼 Also which 360 Cam is Best For Low to Night Light Than Can Be Used Extended through Motorcycle Power Charger Socket or Battery Bank! I Want a link Webcam but Insta360 Went Out of their WAY To See To It That It's Not Made Available to Me along with The Companies on My Cases so I'm not sure if you can help? Hi Paris! Great question. YES I do have soem thoughts!! If you listen to the part where I did the direct sound comparison between those 3 systems, I do prefer the sound of the Deity. Mainly bc it has more Bass than Rode or Comica. The Comica sounds a little more detailed and crispy, but missing that warm Bass sound. So it's personal preference. Deity has only 1 mic and No Recording Feature. Although, the Comica is the BEST bang for your buck because it has the 2 TX, 2 Lav mics, Internal Recording, nice Case, and separate Gain controls for each TX. Rode is missing the Lav mics, the nice case, and the Gain controls for individual mics...plus you have to use Rode App to export the Audio. The Comica is literally Drag and Drop to get Audio files off them.

@@RayValencia Thanks for the review. The Comica looks like an awesome product, but I'm curious about the sound quality. Both the built-in and supplied lav mic on the Comica system sound pretty bad. Did you try the Comica system with another mic to see if there was improvement? All the other features you mention are really great, but kind of moot if the audio quality doesn't cut it. I'd really like to hear a noise level comparison between the Comica, Diety and Rode systems with a decent lav mic.

I've been trying for 1 and a half hours but no matter how many times I record the mic keeps using the default iPhone Microphone. I have the cable that says for SmartPhone connected and I've made sure that the mics are paired connected and everything do you know if there's something I'm missing? I'm using an Iphone 14 Pro Max.

One cable is for Sony/Panasonic/Fujifilm and the other cable is for Canon/NIkon. How are these two TRS to TRS cables different? Is it a matter of plug-in-power? (The connectors look identical to me -or am I missing something?)

Someone told me, in a comment, that the cables have different loudness and if I felt the Sony cable wasn't as loud as the others, then try one of the "louder/more sensitive" cables. I haven't tested this theory yet

I would have liked to hear this test with the same mic - no one ever does this. Something like the rode pro lav maybe. also I’d like to know stuff like what voltage the units supply to the mic, the battery life and charge time. And how easy/hard those buttons are to hit by accident, or whether there’s a lock function. How solid have you found the record function? What’s the limiting like? Thanks for the review btw
