How is it compare to the Deity D4 Mini for the sound quality for indoor scenes?

Umm one thing not mentioned is this mic kills your phone battery if you are out in the field . The mic needs an on off switch so in between recording you can turn it on and off. Prob not the best for in the field portable video recording. Lessons learned

Was this video shot on the mic in question cuz there's a noise that I really hope is not from the mic? If it was shot on the VM10Pro then which cam since most/some still have crappy preamps. [Edit] End of the video now, and I simply can't unhear it. The shots in the car and the last one at home w.o. the music make it so clear. The car shot, that noise is pretty unacceptable even for an unpowered mic. Do you know if it's the mic or the cam preamp?

Does this mic does well cancelling wind noise ? Great video by the way

Is it possible to disable the realtime monitoring? I would like to use it as audio output in windows.

I'm thinking of buying this for my keenly awaited iPhone 15 PRO but all the reviews I can find only look at the vlogging/interviewing type scenario and I will want use it for recording my daughter's function band live. Would you say this mic would fit the bill for that?

What does the gain knob do
