Fun fact: the great nephew of Franz Ferdinand, and the current heir of the Habsburg family, is also called Ferdinand. He's a racing driver, and he won the 24 hours of Le Mans (arguably the most prestigious event in the whole of motorsport, or roughly on-par with the Indy 500 and Monaco GP, depending on who you ask) a couple of years ago.

Ngl, that "Al-Abama" alternate history sounds pretty interesting and sick for an alternate scenario in history. Wonder how much history of the US would differ due to this version of that state? It defintely sounds more interesting then the actual history of Alabama (no offence to anyone who lives in Alabama btw).

It’s all about language. In American English you’d usually say September 1st, 1939 but in a country like France you’d say Le premier septembre 1939. (The first of September 1939)
