Yep got many posted :-) Take a peek. My dad bought me Transformers 1 and i still have that original copy. I have many more along with those 3 comics rack pack. I collect those bigtime!! Am working on a 3rd comic book spinner rack too!! Always buy what you love for the sentimental. If it goes up. Consider the intrinsic a BONUS. No FOMO or SPEC for us.

HUGE Jim Steranko fan here!!! I got multiple sets of his 1966-1967 HARVEY Spy Man 1 to 3 with his 1st published work even if just a hand 🙂

Great video - subbed up! I have some childhood comics that are special - my first off-the-rack Daredevil was issue 158, just happened to be Frank Miller's first so that was cool. Also, Daredevil 8 was my first Silver Age buy - Stiltman!

My worst regretful sale was my holy grail. Ultra rare 1939 Motion Picture Funnies Weekly 1 coverless complete with a trimmed Marvel Comics 1 cover lot from the Lloyd Jacquet estate!!!! I did get a replica made and have made one of my earlier 1st comic book related YT videos of that very book. The 1st appearance of Sub-mariner in glorious black and white and without the added 4 pages from MC1. I hope to buy that book back one day

If you want to talk about mistakes, in 1976, I bought 2 copies of Amazing Adventures featuring The Beast for $1.00 instead of buying Giant-Size X-men #1 with that dollar.

My Sentimental books are Excalibur Special Number 1, Spiderman 2099 1, X-Men 135, and ASM 13. Your son was right about the sound issue, its better now. To make it excellent, I would suggest picking up an inline phantom power supply for your microphone. I got one which was USB powered for like 20 bucks off amazon and it makes a huge difference.

I was an ‘80’s teen. Therefore most of my favorite issues/stories were during that time. The following are books I bought back when they first hit the newsstand or my LCS that I kept all these years. Avengers Annual #10 (Chris Claremont and Michael Golden at the top of their game. One of the best single-issue stories I ever read). Dr. Strange #55 (Next to Avengers Annual #10, this had the best artwork I had ever seen). Death of Captain Marvel graphic novel (The first time I remember crying from a story). Dark Knight Returns (This story changed EVERYTHING). Batman Year One story (The best Batman story every written) Miracleman 🎉#1-16. (My favorite comic book story…EVER. This is what historians will point to as the perfect example of post modern deconstruction). I still favor this over Watchmen Superman Annual #11 (One of the best Superman stories ever written). Daredevil: Born Again story (Frank Miller outdid himself with this story. Even surpassing his original run on DD).
