$5 comics, whoa, now you're talking! Great interviews Gem. I liked seeing the price tag of $1.1 million for the AF15 9.4. Would like to see someone actually buying that and walking out the door with it.
So much awesome comics I can remember some books that my father read to me as an kid in the early 1990's that he had as a young boy and the comics. That my grandpa passed down to him
I remember being a kid, going to comic con back in the 80's when it had actual comics. And those early spider man were in actual price range btn 50-100's. sigh. If I knew back then
Jeez I just jumped into the hobby of comics and been going down a rabbit hole seeing what most expensive comics is and I’m not even a minute into this video and I see so many heavy hitters not gonna lie I would love see those in person
What's up gem! ,I really enjoyed and appreciated this video,as a longtime comic book fan and one who has never been to a comic con I would also like to say thank you.everything was absolutely awesome and I enjoyed every minute of this video!
Well, amazing art and copies of comic books, but one thing is now clear this not a hobby for the masses anymore but for the happy few, so I wonder how many books they sell at these conventions that those prices or is it just a showcase??? Saw the video with the 9000 USD X-Men book but I guess this is the exception!
That Marvel Comics #1 though...damn!...got get that one day..maybe in my next life..great video Gem..nice you showcased Comic Tom and his crew and Very Gary!
I'm looking to get some on site grading done in baltimore so this is 100% what I wanted to see for this weekend! I haven't seen more Hulk 181s or Amazing Fantasy 15s anywhere else.
When I see so many slabbed copies of the same key it tells me the demand is low or the price is too high. Still want them. Also that Peter Parker Byrne covet is amazing.
Awesome video, thanks so much for taking the time to film it perfectly, really enjoyed it! So many awesome silver age keys that I have never seen it such high grades, 9.4 AF #15 for $1,100,000, Dreaming for now, but one day, maybe lol. Love your channel, keep up the great work.
Dude I was standing right next to you and Phie when Comic Tom ran into you! I wanted to say hello, but I was busy closing on a nice copy of Batman #244 and ASM #135. Anyway, Hello! It was was cool to see you all.
Wow! Teenage .mutant ninja turtles first print in a 9.8! That's the only one ever recorded if I'm not mistaken. That and a Amazing Fantasy 15 would be my dream. Is it true that comic Con in New York offer free CGC grading?
last year I saw a few high grades copies of X-men 1....this year nothing at most mid-graders. They hording those high-grade copies and not taking out for public sales?
How has no one attempted an elaborate heist at a Con yet? You got millions of dollars worth of books just sitting glass cases. Screw diamonds and gold.
Love seeing all the awesome comics, but I cringe knowing that the batteries in those SNES sealed slabbed games are gonna eventually corrode and ruin the cart and board inside. If you're gonna slab a game pick the ones without batteries.
If i had a shop with expensive art i'd get everything framed with museum glass. people grade image comics that came out last month but you have 40k artwork just stood up. And grading video games is a habit i'd like to see go away.
