These converted containers are fine, they are dry, they have sanitation, this woman is unbelievably ungrateful, she should move out and make room for someone who appreciates being given shelter, I bet she’s never worked here and contributed to the system. These containers are no different to prefabs that people had to live in after the war.

In America we call these trailers there are whole trailer parks

When I heard shipping containers I thought of a metal walled room with a sleeping bag and a camping stove, is this really what they are complaining about? Remember they aren't paying a dime for this.

Having lived in developing countries in the past, I am sure there are millions of people who would be grateful to have that much space and to have it provided by the state. It is time that the state stopped providing for those who are ungrateful or feel entitled.

UK student living in stoke from Manchester, the only different thing between that house and my student accommodation is the cooker, I literally have the same wardrobe/clothes compartment.

Do some work to improve your condition if not enough do more work .

Oh my God, everyone, this is awful! Surely we should all work harder, say, 16 hours a day plus weekends, so we can pay more tax so this beautiful princess who has graced our land can live in the mansion she deserves? Spending time with our families? Looking after our own sick and elderly? Paying our own bills? These are all irrelevant! This woman deserves OUR money and OUR labour! And look - brown! Hijab! Muslim! Female! Doesn't that mean she can't be wrong EVER? Doesn't that mean anyone who doesn't work themselves to an early death to pay for HER food, rent and heating bills is in the KKK or something? Come on people - it's time for compassion! We have to pay for her because she's an immigrant refugee and not a white person so that means diversity which means strength and wealth - so we should work harder and give her our money because she is enriching US with her very presence!

Tiny/container homes are actually sustainable and affordable accommodation for those that have nothing. She should be grateful.

I'd say this is decent compared to where she's come from I suspect but she wants a mansion with huge garden in a posh area in London. The next she'll complain about benefits too low. Lots of demands but no contributions made. All these are free and paid for by taxpayers.

Wow, I've spent years living on streets. I'm living in a nice suburb now, but I fought for things like this. I don't have a family to raise, but I have seen thousands of people with families on the streets. Most of the world doesn't have homelessness, but we do here. Seems like a snob to me.

What do they expect, we have thousands of homeless who were born here in the UK. They come here expecting a house when we have no houses for our own.

as already pointed out, they traveled through a lot of other European country's to get to the UK. Many veterens are sleeping on the streets & would be happy for a unit like this. When I was younger & left the Army, I was not entitled to unemployment benefit or any other benefits, went out & got a crappy job & lived in a 1 room bedsit. So SKY how about doing a programme on the inequity of so called refugees getting priority over our own veterans.

This guy clearly doesn't understand how wardrobes work. I can understand that he's shocked by the conditions, he earns a small fortune for chatting to people and probably lives in Chelsea.

I don't see a problem what they have looks like they got pretty decent amount of stuff specially compared to people living in the streets. Maybe those people should live in the streets for a while

It's clearly not a single shipping containter, so that's a lie. And not a shred of gratitude... granted, it's not a palace, but it's not a bad safe haven considering the price she paid.

I was thinking of building a shipping container home. This one looks very apartment like. some shelves would probably help make more space. The hallway seems to be poorly allocated space. Middle entrance and rooms on the side seems to be standard for tiny homes now.

I was homeless last year in the USA we were given one room with a kitchen and tiny bathroom dishes for 4 2 pans and beds blankets nothing else for 6 people...no furniture our stuff was in plastic bags...... this was for 60 days until I could get a job or other arrangements.....was I ungrateful no I was blessed to no longer live in the street with my babies

The council should save some money, Suggest it would be a lot cheaper to fly the family home. Offer the housing to a family who are grateful for the opportunity to better there situation.

On one of my deployments, I lived out of a modified shipping container that was more cramped than that and with fewer conveniences. If they cannot appreciate those free accommodations, they should go back to wherever they came from.

Wish I could post photographs...I am a citizen and that is literally 10x better than the space I reside. MTV cribs if I was living there.

Own less stuff. Organise it. Problem solved.
