Finally a date....it will be like a school kid counting down the days till summer...Hope you will have enough in stock the first go around for all of us that have been awaiting its arrival....and I would agree with Gayle's comment...folders that would not warp as badly so quickly would be the best improvement to an amazing tool...thank you....
Tari thanks for your comment, we are so excited we think you are going to love this tool.... the handle turns much easier too :). We are working on improving the folders but we have not been able to get them to not warp. We'll keep working on it.
They are awsome!! They cut thin dies like butter!! So creative are their dies and stamps. And their dies are very well made. I have the 1st one which was very tiny. But now I have the new larger one and it is fabulous!! And they also sale their own line of embossing folders. And they now have specialty dies for more 3 D dies. Well worth the money .Especially if you are just starting out into card making. I am not affiliated with this company. But have made several purchases. And I also Bearly Arts glue as well. Because it holds very good. And it dries clear. And fast. And a little bit goes a long way.. like I said I am not affiliated with the company but love these products!!
I love my Diamond Press and the many dies that I have purchased. Love the look of the new machine. So cute and very versatile. I have several of the binders too, love them and the magnetic sheets. Much more sturdy than others. Can hardly wait for new dies, tools, and stamps to come (as well as larger platform). I also love Beth, that demonstrates for you, she’s a hoot and makes adorable card samples. Encourages us to use our scraps, she’s so encouraging and inspirational. Keep up the good work.
I love my original diamond press sooo much but could you do anything to make the folders better???? I only use them 2-3 times and they already wharp. Would love an improvement. Definately will buy the newer one !!!
Always looking forward to new and more helpful products...need to buy some more storage space to go with the new products!! Looking forward to a new Diamond Press Product joining my paper craft family!
Yay! I love my Diamond Press and I'm very excited about this new larger one. I sometimes wished my DP was just a tad bigger because some of my most often used dies (other than my awesome DP dies) are just a tad too big for the original DP. And I hate lugging out my bigger machine. Diamond Press makes a wonderful machine and fantastic stamps and dies. Plus they have wonderful customer service. So, I definitely have this new larger machine on my want/need list. Can't wait to see what cool new projects we can make with the larger machine and corresponding stamps and dies!
This is awesome... I have been wanting a DP machine for a long while, but I can't seem to find where to buy one... I don't shop HSN, will I be able to buy this on your website?
Diamond Press sells some items on their website but not all the HSN items. The new larger tool will only be available on HSN, you may want to consider buying just this one item there, the tool will be amazing and worth it.
I love my DP! Question... have you fixed the “all plastic” handle problem with this new design (as I patiently wait for my second replacement machine)???
I am so glad I saw this before I purchased the new Gemini mini, now I am getting this one. I have one of the original Diamond Press and the suction lever broke in the first month. Glad to see the improvements in this one.
I really like that they are coming out with a larger cutting tool. I would pay $34.95 for it. I know it would not be the same price of the smaller one (only in my dreams) LOL. These cutting machines are starting to remind me of cell phones, every year there is an improved version and you have to pay a much higher price. I need help for my addiction.
I was going to get the CC mini but not anymore! Good thing you sent this email before Craft Day started. Will there be color options other than teal? I'm looking forward to the release! (In the meantime I ordered the DP Holiday stamps & dies today.)
How soon does one need to replace the folder? I started using it and it's already ruining the the items I'm die cutting due to the shape of the folder. Do I really need a new one each time I craft? Am I doing something wrong?
you aren't doing anything wrong. They don't last long. It does help if you flip it over after each cut, it does last a little longer. I bought the additional folders from HSN, plus if you give a 5 star rating under the Diamond Press item you ordered on HSN and send Diamond Press and email, they will send you one free short folder. Can't wait for the bigger one to be available. Shame they couldn't have it ready shortly after the unveiling ! LOVE my Diamond Press and all the dies and stamps I've ordered.
