I'm not a fan of the price, but, I find it AMAZING that they made him larger than the main Centurions. Scale, y'know? The Loyal Subjects should take tons of notes from Ramen Toys (considering that their BST AXN Shredder, Casey Jones, & Foot Soldiers are all way too small compared to their TMNT, and their Edward Elric is way too big compared to their Al...seems Hasbro's RED line copied the homework of The Loyal Subjects. I don't even wanna know how mangled the BST AXN Cowboy Bebop stuff is).
This looks fantastic Mike. Just looking at it, it looks like a premium feel. Just binged watched the entire Centurions cartoon. Man, that was painful but I had fun as well. It's been decades since I've watched them. As an observation, the magnet between Hacker and his Syntax unit doesn't look that strong and cohesive. You might want to raise that with Ramen Toy so they can improve on that. BTW, Happy New Year from the UK.
Man the 80's were in my humble opinion the best ! Happy new year everyone 🎉 sup mike what you get for Christmas? Me I got a haslab Galactus I wish they had included a voice feature but it's pretty cool
Damm there has been fire after fire come out the past 2 weeks. Really do want a set of these but just paid for my Ocular max Tempo Chrome and that was aghhh EXPENSIVE like these.
I hope they make sure they glue the magnets in the proper way on Doc Terror and on some of the accessories otherwise they might not connect correctly to each other.
I bought the Ace figure but was very disappointed with the quality so i sold it on to someone else on ebay. If they do them again in better plastic at 6inch scale I might pick them up but then they have to redo all the armour pieces again at the bigger size so I guess they won't do that.
...just got mine yesterday. It LOOKS great. But leaves me a bit disappointed from packaging to body connection to articulation. I dig it but I'm not as happy with this as I am with the commanders
@@tydiriumhanger1320 I know I will be. It's just a shame that the 6-in Apache Commander failed and same thing with the retro John thunder. I really hope that Phantom foil will be able to be successful,
I had the vintage hacker. The quality of build was terrible. Weak magnets meant the figure just split in two all the time and a rotating arm that was the wrong size for the weapons that came with it. Looked great though.
Hacker and Doc Terror weren't giants. They were just normal sized humans who had been turned into cyborgs. They were the same height as the Centurions in the show, so this scale change is bizarre.
I received Haker in the mail this week. I have the 80s commanders. I feel the head sculpts are not that great. They look lifeless. With that being said I have the guild wing on pre-order
No gimmick for the spinning arm? No sounds? The magnets look weak. Things pop off while handling the figure. Can´t fire the arm weapons. There´s a gazillion things they could have incorporated into this figure but they didn´t. It´s a hard pass from me.
@@ghostwarrior3878 Because I wanted it to have gimmicks? I was excited for this figure as well as the Centurions, but they´re just bland... they´re well made, they look good but that´s it. The only company to remake these figures from my childhood and it didn´t want to incorporate gimmicks or anything to make them shine and be fun and interesting, like the originals were. Well that´s just great. I guess I´ll just have to hope Super 7 makes Centurions with gimmicks then ;)
Im sorry, but I just don’t have faith in this company to pull off the mask figures. While this figure looks cool, those magnets they used look like they’re barely holding the figure together, and the helmet looks kind of floppy on the head. Plus, from seeing the issues with their past figures, I wish some other company would work on mask instead…
