Inferno of the Star Mounts is a interesting commander with the mechanic of going on & off 20 power. Each time you hit 20 power "BANG" 20 damage to someone's face!!!

2 edits :P. Drop the dragon reducer which only does 1 mana.. not worth it!! Run a Dragon Rage Channeler. More body’s more card selection and a hitter. Drop a mountain and run haven of the spirit dragon. You can get dragons back if need be :)

As A Certified Judge for Magic the Gathering, I do believe there needs to be some Clarification pertaining to the triggered ability of this creature. It does not activate simply because a player was able to raise its Power to 20, a player must raise it to 20 "in this way". Meaning, if they are able to raise its power to 20 purely by boosting with Red Mana, or, top off the 20 by at least 1 Red Mana, then the ability is triggered. There were some debates about this during our last FNM, so far this has been the official ruling. Have fun and remember, its just a game.

And i m pretty sûre you can t copy it with out debuff between placed in the stack : With power at 19 : from down to up the stack Top of the stack > pay R : +1/+0 (second activation) Middle of the stack > reduce power by 1 Bottom of the stack > Pay R : +1/+0 (first activation) Résolution : the dragon become 20 power then 19 then 20 (THIS WAY) If no power réduction . The copy of the agilité bring it to 20(so 20 dmg) but the original, and first of the stack, will add 1 to the 20... then it's 21 so no 20 dmg I m right?

@@InefableCH Actually you can, take the card "Lithoform Engine" for example, Tap 2/Tap Lithoform Engine: "Copy Target Activated or Triggered Ability You Control. You May Choose New Targets for the Copy." Since the Rule Text states "When it's power becomes 20 this way, it deals 20 damage to any target.", it becomes a Triggered Ability, So effectively Yes, You can Copy it.

@@sheldonthomson5455 the fact that you are coping a ability that look alternative 20 power as it resolves mean the other will change the power to 21 so no dmg at the last résolution right ?

@@sheldonthomson5455 of course you can copy. But as the copy and the ability wont résolve at the same time, You will do : 19 to 20 power and 20 dmg. Then : 21 power and no dmg bécasse it is strictly 20 in the text
