Hey everyone, and welcome back to another Commander Guy's MtG EDH Gameplay video!
We're back to normal this week, with a standard game.....or not. All four decks this week thrive on instant-speed interaction. Josh is bringing Kykar, Wind's Fury [WUR Spell-slinging; Hive-Mind Combos]; Michael is bringing Riku of two Reflections. [URG Spell-slinging; Charbelcher-combo]; Devin is playing Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim [WB Sacrifices; Disruption] and Danny is playing Vadrok, Apex of Thunder [WUR CMC 3 or Less Spells-linging].

that was a super fun game to watch, all decks had spicy combos going on. huge fan of the two jeskai decks

I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D Danny's Vadrok deck actually surprised me with some of the combos he was running and didn't end up hitting this game...Restore Balance can be really nasty in that shell!

This was an amazing game never saw it coming. Loved the Chance of Glory finish. Great narration too it was a tough one to follow!

We have a bit of a gentle person’s agreement that we only do stacks of 3-2/1-4 unless someone is about to lose and the situation is dire

To be honest, it 100% depends on the pod we run. Everyone in this pod in particular is pretty close to one another--so they were much more likely to let people get away with things than a normal pod! :D

My apologies on that. Riku's picture presents a weird conundrum for me which I haven't fully worked out yet--it's too large to fit into my templates as is, and I haven't quite found a way to match it up so it works yet. I'll continue improving on it over time thought!

That's completely fair! We have a good deal of footage pre-recorded like this, but maybe I can have Devin/Danny take a look at sectioning off the mat a bit more to better define each player's board space? If they do something along those lines it may take a while to appear on the channel, but it might present a solution for the future?

Cool game, but I don't really like moves like letting a player draw all 5 cards through fact or fiction for a favor or 'being nice' and not exiling sundial :)

That's completely fair! As a whole for this series/playgroup we do tend towards the more casual side of games where we'd rather see players show off their decks and interactions than always choosing the optimal play. That said, we actually are looking to see if we can hunt down the players on a consistent basis to add a competitive series into the mix! :D
