Hey lads I have a nice long Commander gameplay video that's been lightly edited. I wanted to leave as much context in as possible to show all the little things, communication style, and leadership that it takes to turn a losing match into a huge comeback win! Once again sorry for the slightly poor resolution quality at times, this was downloaded off my Twitch Vod and Twitch does a terrible job recording content in the actual resolution it is streamed in!
About me: I've been streaming Hell Let Loose for almost 2 years now and have 4500+ hours in game. I went fulltime stream in the last couple weeks here and I have been so appreciative of all the support the stream has sent me since then. Mate, you're really good at this game. Remember this when you're leading. A good leader doesn't be flippant or condescend. Be like a father, not an older brother. Great vid as always though, love it. Best HLL coverage

LOVE the content man, but if i could just offer a little bit of constructive criticism. (This might just be me) buuut, having the outcome of the match in the title feels like a massive spoiler and takes away from the anticipation of not knowing who’s taking home the W or how the match is gonna go. Again, this might just be me but thought I’d mention it anyway. Keep up the good work brother, I’ve learnt a massive amount from watching your videos etc.

i agree, in some games, creators only upload victories, and this game is not much diffrent but knowing the outcome for sure takes away from the experience

Remagen is such an unbalanced map, I'm much more likely to click on a remagen video if it's a win on attack

This Was a fun game for me and the recon on the opposite team. We had some weird moments just going back and forth destroying those garries! Watching helped to give you more of a headache as recon vs a good commander

I’ve found that recently people either don’t listen or know how to play the game. Simple things such as building a garrison they can’t do!

As a level 45 that’s commanded 7 times I recommend saying thank you more and just throwing out a few more good jobs when they do something correctly

I had a game yesterday where my commander was complaining about SLs not setting up garries on defense but spent the whole game in enemy territory trying to set up aggressive offensive garries. I tried to be helpful and tell him that he needed to set them up himself if no one else would and then he got angry. So frustrating to have a stubborn commander who thinks he knows everything but doesnt. I wanna try it but it just seems like so much pressure

Love the content man! I really hope to see you in the Command slot in one of my games someday XD I do have a question though: What do you have your voice/audio settings at? I sometimes have a hard time hearing prox/squad chat (I'm not experienced enough to run SL yet, so I don't use Command chat), but haven't been able to find any useful/up-to-date audio settings online. Appreciate any insight you might be able to provide!

I keep all the voice comms at 50 percent, overall volume at 80, and most importantly the SFX at 25 percent! Once you get used to the game and get used to checking who’s in your squad, you’ll get over the overwhelming audio!

Never play on the Xbox servers being command over there you get a lot less communication and cooperation from your squad leads

I find that when I play commander on Xbox, just doing a little bit for the team goes a long way. Build garrisons in the right spots where you want your team and they will be there.

Start just playing in infantry squads as rifleman. Talk to people and let them know you’re new. You’ll get the hang of it quickly and can start playing more consequential roles. Most of the community is helpful minus a few, but we all start somewhere!

On a map such as this. A commander building, defending and maintaining the back line is what is best for the team. Not the commander who wants to play Rambo and fruitlessly push the frontline forcing multiple squad leaders to sit in the back line picking up his slack. That mid point is the victory condition, to capture that mid point our team needs to have more cap weight for 2 whole minutes. The best chance for us to make that happen is to free up as many SLs to push the point as possible. SLs have the advantage of being able to place Outposts. These OPs allow a SL to spawn in 20 seconds, spawn 5 other guys, the spawn itself can’t be locked up until it is destroyed. Commanders do not have this advantage. Hence why I give the SLs the leeway to stay on attack by locking down defense as much as possible. But yeah situational awareness. Learn the game bud your team will be better for it.
