He would have done the sacrifice before damage got dealt, so it wouldn't change much in the grand scheme of things. Still, as the Defiled showed us, global effects can be a pain to handle or remember.
You could play 3+ color commanders, but the color identity is the opposite of its colors. For example, Muldrotha (Sultai) with 99 Boros cards. (You can cast the commander for colorless mana).
Honestly, i love the small changes yall have made with the short/concise deck introductions as well as rotating seat order. Happy to continue watching!
I was in your position. Take a look at your career path and make sure you are satisfied with it. I was miserable in Pre-Med and everything changed for the better when I switched to Forestry. Or-- git gud
Jeremy: "I want to make a lot of treasure tokens." Me, who watched Jeremy play Smothering Tithe, Parallel Lives, and Anointed Procession on stream Tuesday: YEAH I BET YOU DO! :)
I can't believe Jeremy did Jon dirty like that. Even just getting rid of a thopter would've diminished Stephens resources and establishes a good relationship with Jon.
I love that they've all chosen black in the season where Justin's winning. After the previous few seasons where he got dunked on, this one must seem like a dream.
1:08:15 If Jeremey hadn't Blasphemous Acted, Justin would have probably been screwed still. Don't blame Stephen for wanting to keep his board, when you and Jeremy played into Justin's hands, Jon.
28:45 Looks like director missed an F-bomb bleep here. I love these non-traditional commander variant (add-a-color, PW commanders, themes, etc.) episodes! Keep up the great work everyone!
Stephen, I just saw that you had a spinal fusion. I've had 2 separate fusions myself (L5-S1, then L4-L5) and know how bad they suck. I hope you get feeling better soon.
I thought I had a chance with my Phage add white suggestion. Edit: after seeing Jon's deck, probably better for Stephen to not have played the Phage I suggested
if i were to ever make a deck like that i would use Gargos, Vicious Warden, add white, and go ufll on aura/enchantress Voltron. i have a mono green deck with him, and its alreadfy good, but with more white auras it would be really fun, im sure
I would do bruna, light of alabaster and add green, her deck would become much stronger with both mana ramp and access to trample and things like collossification
I got you fam. In addition to just knowing Justin, I thought it was verrrry telegraphed multiple times. Especially when he had one mana up and didn't pay the Rhystic tax.
Sorry for the confusion. Decklists always go up shortly after the video, so whenever you don't see them at first, just check back a bit later and you will find them!
On his final turn, there's not that much Stephen could have done here... I mean: what are the chances that: What are the odds that Jon and Jeremy both would cast a wrath on that turn and Justin had the right black card to recover...
Stephen mentioned it at the beginning as a joke but doing "subtract a color" could be interesting. Whatever color you subtract from the commander becomes generic mana to cast.
I was thinking about this theme the other day and I think I have the cutest deck for this. Please please please someone do Winota Joiner of Forces, splash green, Werewolf tribal. Tell me that wouldn't be awesome with your rule of laws and such.
Would it be possible to display hand size somewhere for us to follow? I know anyone playing Rhystic should generally have a full grip, but knowing actual card advantage status might help understand the full game state.
LOL Jon sure loves telling people their King making yet most games are, when thought about it, all about king making; you never know what spell you cast will benefit someone more than you.
So is there another way that you'll read to submit decks other than Twitter? I tried to avoid dumpster fires... If that hasn't scared you off lol here's a commander I've wanted you guys to play since you previewed the card: www.archidekt.com/decks/1205781#Mathas,_Friend_Seeker
I Honestly hate to critique people on mistakes, but shouldn’t Steven have had five thopters off of hangerback? All the buffs his colorless and artifact creature had should’ve still been in effect so it would’ve gotten a extra +3 +3 right?
Greens attitude was pretty annoying and Jeremy's* back stab was not funny but more cringy.. This game was a big ole pile lol.. *Edited to change Justin to Jeremy!! Darn "J" names on this show lol
@@nemoforever so Justin didn’t stab Jon in the back after Jon tapped an artifact so Gadrak could attack? Idk I thought it was a scummy play by Justin. Yes Jon’s politics backfired but it set a somewhat negative tone afterward, in my opinion.
