I know this is late, but technically its toughness only changes once the activated ability has resolved, not when you activate it.

These were all great theme decks but I'm sad to not see a Lazav, the Multifarious deck based off of the House of Black and White. A many faced Lazav self mill clone deck would have been sweet but oh well. Maybe next time ^.^

#TeamParnell. Justin, I have a deck for you. Now I know you hate Kamigawa, but I don't think the other three really understand why you hate it and they need to be instilled with fear of it. Reki, the History of Kamigawa is mono-green storm. You're gonna cast many spells each turn and keep drawing cards so you can keep casting legends. This is by far my favorite deck to play and I really want you to show off this underplayed Commander. Great episode for those who watch the show or have read the books....maybe even some of those who have heard some about it. But alas for those of us who have never seen the show and have no desire to do so well its an episode that will leave you lost as well as very very frustrated sometimes. SIGHS then walks away as to lost to watch any longer......

The turn after the Merciless Eviction, Jeremy missed lethal by Rite'ing the Zealous Conscripts. Stephen wouldn't be able to fizzle it as Greater Good was gone.

Well, not quite. The protection from SoFaI stops Rite targeting Conscripts, but TBF Stephen forgot to equip Sword and only did so retroactively, but also TBF Jeremy clearly made no attempt to cast Rite even before Stephen retroactively equipped the Sword, so it all feels like a wash to me; Jeremy missed the play, but if Stephen wasn't distracted by drawing 18 cards the play wouldn't have been possible in the first place.

@@Staplerp Except Jeremy could have made that play several different turns earlier in the game and won. He had that in his hand since before Jon died. On any of his turns before that late equip, Jeremy could have used Rite on Zealous Conscripts to win. He instead chose to durdle and die. Seeing him play is just infuriating.

@@Alico_Reborn Uh ... no, he couldn't. If Jeremy tried to cast Rite on Conscripts, Stephen would have just sacced it to Greater Good to fizzle the spell, as the person I replied to correctly points out. There was never a point in the game where Conscripts could be targeted with Rite; Greater Good was always in play at the same time as Conscripts up until Stephen exiles Greater Good with Merciless Eviction, at which point he (retroactively) equips Conscripts with a pro-blue Sword that same turn. Jeremy definitely made some questionable decisions as usual, but not casting Rite on Conscripts was never one of them (again, ignoring the awkwardness of Stephen's late equip).

I have never seen game of thrones and I'm proud of that fact, you know why? many of the actors and actresses there are awful, they are terrible at their job... like what's her face.. mother of Dragons.. terrible actress.... Drago... terrible actor.... Emilia Clark (don't know the name of the character she plays), terrible!

I sometimes consider Deathbringer, Foe-Razer, and Sunscorch Regents from Dragons of Tarkir as Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion, respectively. You could even use Thunderbreak Regent as Balerion (the dead Dragon in King's Landing). Kresh could be Khal Drogo.

Honestly, this is like the only mtg content i watch anymore. So entertaining, i even enjoy the post game banter. Great job with the flavor, and hilariously after all episode stating that his deck was all flavor and crap quality, Steven pulled through for the North! Keep the content coming guys. Highlight of the week!
