T-pose tribal is now my favorite tribal deck

It's almost like they totally forgot the episode where they let Jon win in the exact same way from casting it a second time not from his hand. Jon "cast fear" on all his opponents. Why do they keep forgetting you cannot win with Approach from any zone other than your hand?

Spoiler: Just a brief clarification though, I don't believe Stephen would've won with Approach of the Second Sun having been exiled by Golos. Approach specifically states that it must be cast from hand to win the game, so I believe it would've just fulfilled the second "otherwise" clause of the card and been placed 7th from the top again.

I think this is the second time now y'all forgot that Approach of the Second Suns only wins you the game if it is cast from your hand

I just want to say I love the banter that the play group and you guys have, the delagaiting and politics that go on and Jeremy having fun with his custom sad robot token. Keep it up guys, big fan and I mis playing commander. So stoked that I am getting back to work at my LGS and hope to be playing commander soon! I feel horrible for Team Green, he almost had this despite the misinterpretation of the approach, Really good game,

T-pose tribal that is genius. I can't imagine trawling through every magic card looking for cards that T-pose and making a functional deck with it.

An alternate win-con focused deck seems a sort of deathwish in a multiplayer game. Most of the alternate win-cons require more than a turn of set up, meaning you quickly place a "kill me" sign on your back. It was random though, so that's just really tough luck.

Jeremy could have prevented any last turn shenanigans from Jon by using Kaseto to give Justin's creatures unblockable. Still worked out though and gave Justin one less point, so maybe intended!

John probably could have won but kept saying "I dont know how you do it Jeremy" and gives him the win again. And Jeremy could have won but I wasnt paying any attention cause I was trying to figure out if there was dust on his upper lip or is he trying to grow a beard again?!?!?!?!?!

Is it just me or does everyone on the show not like Stephen? I mean almost every single time he's out first. There are times though he does put up a good fight. But it seems that he has to work for it extremely hard and against everyone to get not last. 🤔

At 1:38:17, Justin could have made some elementals at Jeremy's end step, since they would only go away at Justin's end step, due to the trigger happening "at the beginning of the next end step". It baffles me how many times people forget about this interaction with cards like Elemental Mastery.

nobody seems to actually care about the points earned. john could've killed justin easily (the one in the lead with17 points) and then still easily kill stephen if he didn't have beasted golos... it's like this in most of the episodes by now and it doesn't seem to make sense anymore to keep the system when you prioritize winning in a singular episode and ignore the points earned so far by other players. even if they didn't know that stephen was still far from winning it doesn't make sense to kill him first (7 points) and automatically give justin even more points than he would've had otherwise. i really like your edh videos. yet i'm confused what the need for tracking points is when you're just as entertaining playing whatever way you like and probably prefer it that way yourselves as well^^

what general do you play with 100 lands? arixmethes? also 99 lands could be ashling because who does not like drawing mountains?

Why didn't Stephen activate Golos in response to Beast Within?

Next season you should all NOT play with your favorite colors. Parnell can't play black, Noell can't have blue and green at the same time in any deck, Stephen can't play red, and Suarez can't play blue.

Why does Godzilla have lightning elemental but not arc runner? Arc runner is cheaper, bigger and hasty

Why did Jon not attack Jeremy at all on his last turn? He has a whole team of vigilant cats and enough mana to activate his commander twice more, meaning he is presenting a lot of damage and can eat a lot of creatures in combat depending on how blocks are lined up. Seems better than doing literal nothing and embracing death. Am i missing something on Jeremy's side that would make his attack pointless? Similarly, and more importantly, I think he should have chumped with the pridemate and kept the lifelink token around for when he could attack with it and potentially double pump it to gain around 14 life, making it much less likely that jeremy could kill him with unblockable damage. I don't think Jeremy could offer 21 damage on his next attack through those blockers, and then Jon wins easily when he next untaps.

I feel Stephen's frustration. It sucks to just get striked out of the game when the person doing so knows full well that they are likely to lose to someone else as a result. This is the problem with alternate win conditions or even building your deck in a way where people know they cannot beat it in the late game. Folks know they have to gang up and get you out of the game or just lose. You give people those options and they will almost always try and kill you.

With Zilortha, isn’t the way it works since it says “lethal damage” is determined by their power, so it checks toughness first, then when toughness goes to “0” it starts checking power for lethal damage?

Does Soul Herder get a counter if the commander goes to the command zone instead of exile? I believe No but Stephen added a counter

Approach doesn't win the game if you cast the second one from anywhere other than your hand, so if Stephen exiled it with Golos he'd only be guaranteeing that he'd never be able to cast it from his hand for the rest of the game
