I'm real glad you finally did this!! Commando is probably my favorite movie hands down and I remember watching it as a kid as well. I still watch it occasionally.

Duuude a Commando sequel with his daughter would be so badass.

As a firearms enthusiast I have to laugh at how so much they get wrong in this movie. This movie is so awesome, I miss when movies could be slathered in cheese and all you needed was Arnold shooting a machine gun one handed while bad guys flew back 10 feet into the air. And who can forget Bennett?

Hell yeah!! I have watched this movie, start to finish, probably somewhere around 100 times. It has to be my favorite Arnold movie, for the same reason you had called it like a burger. Just does so much right, as an 80s action movie fanatic. Gotta love all the outtakes for one liners at Bennett's death.

Commando is unironically one of the best Action movies. No, I'm not saying it because it's cheesy and "SO 80's!" It hits all the right notes in what an Action movie should be -- and it has Arnold.

Die Hard is actually the result of a reworked Commando 2. They were going to base Commando 2 on the novel "Nothing Lasts Forever" but Arnold wasn't interested.

The guy they mentioned who was the weapon sales man in terminator was also the delivery guy in small soldiers

There is a 2008 Russian remake of Commando titled День Д (Den' D or D Day) where the opening scene from that movie copies the original from Commando, the scene where the two guys show up in a garbage pickup truck to kill the guy.

I loved "Ninja 3 : The Domination". Ninja movies were a great genre back then. And yes , they were always running around in full ninja suits rather than actually blending in.

You know whats really cool, and though i may be quite a bit late to the party, the fight scenes you were talking about emulating with the bugs bunny scene... generations to come will be emulating the buggs bunny fight scene from avgn. And it makes my heart proud.

James Rolfe has that appealing Dean Cain smile from Lois and Clark.

Commando is the real Taken!

Commando and bloodsport are the two supreme masterpieces of cheese action. They are cheesy and funny but also somehow awesome and actually good. I’ve seen so many action movies and none can hit the perfect sweet spot of those two movies. The perfect balance of horrible and awesome is like a yin yang. I think those two movies are the secret of life and the key to happiness. Crafted by god himself on the 7th day.

I like how the yellow Porsche gets wrecked and when Arnold leaves in it, it is in perfect shape.

Commando is one of my all-time favorite Arnold movies.

They just don't make them like this anymore. Action movies of the 80s and 90s were so good. I remember watching this one as a kid and it literally inspired me to start working out lol doing pushups and stuff because I wanted to be cool and strong like Arnold. Anyway I did get nice muscles for a kid my age so there is that. Thanks Commando.

Commando is one of my favorite childhood movies along with The Last Dragon and Big Trouble in Little China. And so help me God if Hollywood ever tries to reboot or remake any of the three!

I must have seen this movie like 20 times before my friend pointed out the yellow car was magically repaired when they flipped it back over.

James, being a metal fan and an Arnold fan you should check out Austrian Death Machine if you haven't already. Parody metal band whose song titles are Arnold quotes. They're pretty badass.
