The C=TAR got two hardware upgrades for Christmas: One is a foot switch housed in a broken C64 power supply. The other is a dual-SID module called SIDFX that allows me to switch between two different versions of the SID chip, the original 6581 model and the revised 8580 model.

The software might be a bit of work to change the filter parameters, but SID switching boards have existed for a while.

Beg my pardon pls. Are those cabinents IKEA Billy or smt custom? Especially the ones on your right not typical (Billy) 40 cm wide modules I guess and I don't think they're Kallax.

What's the deal with the nasty distortion in the bit you play at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bJ-Op5a5P_0.html? It sounds a lot like the "clicky noises" you get from the 6581 chip when adjusting the master volume. Unfortunately I noticed the same distortion in your performance video. It appears that the 8580 suffers from the same problem as the 6581 but to a far lesser extent, or perhaps it's just something on my end? Raspberry Pi's aren't exactly hifi devices after all.

It's not related to the master volume, but I haven't figured out the root cause yet. It happens when I change the modulator frequency for the hardsync effect.
