@@Dad_Shoes very fair. It’s just that his latest videos have been back to back bangers. The superstars video, the day one video, the GameCube video, all some of Scott’s best work imo. But I see your point
I love how their genuine problem with the coffin is also hilarious in and of itself. It's like the concept of this episode is the gift that keeps on giving.
when scott said “the tools were for eric’s dad” i honestly thought he meant that eric’s dad was a robot or something and the tools were for him. and to be honest it wouldnt even surprise me if i was right
It seems odd to me hearing Scott speak as though people don't like the "skit" videos nearly as much as his usual content when for me those are easily my favorite videos aside from the huge special episodes! I can only dream that someday another video will rival the perfection that is his frat house tour.
This is how commentaries should be. That and the skit episodes are always fun and well acted/produced. I swear most big budget commentaries these days aren't great. (For the anime dubbed cast ones I've seen can't say for western film ones but I don't assume they are that much better) Some go 'check out the special features for that from this staff member' and sometimes a bit about themselves or unrelated things to the episode and it's just rough and boring reasonable actors or producers in the field talking over the episode. These actually feel like behind the scenes and relevant even the minor details besides the fun other stuff it's a better balance and on point than official commentaries (can't say for gaming ones like Portal yet but still). Scott and the guys know their stuff and make a great team.
the coffin has to be one of the funniest stories I've ever heard, like, if i saw a coffin with pictures of someone and a frito lays banner i would have some serious questions that i dont know if i am prepared to have the answers to.
Dude, i just wrote a comment complimenting this episode on the bloopers video, omg. Well, i think that the writting is art, or should i say, excellent, some of the best on the platform. Its the script of a perfectionist.
I laughed so hard at the idea of just 50 of the same picture of dominic, next to the frito lay logo, in a homemade coffin, behind a community center. What do you do If you discover that? call the cops? Lmao
When I heard the bottom of the coffin I imagined the bottom of the coffin standing up, not the bottom of the coffin laying down, the fact you all left that there just cracks me up
@@Dad_Shoes yeah, sorta. the joke is that you're writing a sentence like "one of the greatest videos of all time," but leaving out the word "greatest" while still technically having a grammatically valid sentence. there's a review of _Morbius_ floating around that's completely like that, saying stuff like "Jared Leto gives a performance" and "Matt Smith does a job as the villain of the film"
I still remember the Tweet that Scott posted when Boosted* was airing in place of his show on G4. I was also there for the show's premiere and got to witness it as well. *that was the show they were referring to at 2:30 also that coffin story must have been a mess, takes up most of the runtime.
