Questo è uno dei restauri più belli che hai fatto. Sei partito da una base in condizioni disastrose e hai realizzato un piccolo gioiello. Come sempre, alta qualità del restauro, manualità esemplare e originalità nelle tecniche e nelle scelte progettuali. Tra tutte, l' idea del portapacchi sul tetto è spettacolare. Another outstanding restoration Paul!!! Thanks for sharing your work with us. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one that has issues with mold release NOT releasing when making RTV molds! Not sure what you have available in your area, but a mixture of mineral spirits and petroleum jelly (Vaseline here in the States) makes a much better mold release than spray silicone. Keep up the outstanding work!

Hi Paul finde es toll das du gleichzeitig mehrere teile aus Kunststoff drückst damit nicht nix verschwendet wird der Folien 😊 auch wie immer findest du eine lösung um fehlende Teile herzustellen, alle Achtung 😊. Mfg aus Hamburg

Como siempre, el plus final está en los detalles, que le dan veracidad al metal, la pintura y los sintéticos.Valieron la pena esas horas de trabajo, el original era interesante y tu versión renovada lo hizo más importante aún. I've watched most of your flee market Videos. If possible could you add a clip of you picking it up, if you can remember where and if you videoed it. Probably a difficult thing to do though.
this is quite a difficult thing because I shoot these videos with a phone which has problems with focusing when there is a sudden change. Sometimes I have to move quite quickly if I like the model very much. That's why I don't always manage to get a shot with the models I buy.
The artwork can be found on-line. Some folks will sell a digital file with many scanned originals. With some practice, old scanned originals can be retouched in graphics software, to remove any blemishes. They can be printed on semi glossy card using an inkjet or a laser printer. For the ultimate look, a printing company that take a digital file for a single print can be used. I typically use 600dpi as the resolution but for higher detail, I use 1200dpi.
