Volkswagen T1 Delivery Van. Restoration of the Corgi Toys model no. 433 from 1962. 

One of the classic models that I love. Can't get tired of it.

It's a rare RHD VW Type 2 Van. It's amazing the little details that Corgi put into these toys, such as the textured headliner and torsion bar suspension system.

What a sweet restoration, Maestro. After your ordeals with the Fantoman car and others requiring significant parts fabrication, etc, this was a joy to watch! I knew instantly you would make a mold for the glass of this Volksie. A great thing to have on hand. The thermo plastic molding process has morphed over the many months. Blocks of wood on the table, no blocks, and now silicon spray to assist with the molds removal. Maestro, I am struck by how spare you are in your restorations. The same block of wood work station. The plastic boxes for parts fabrication. Re-purposed plastic and all manner of innovative solutions with every day items. Your genius reveals itself in your ingenuity. The sign of a true master is how you make things look easy. Linear, logical procedures and processes executed with care and precision. You ARE the Maestro!! Bravo! Stephen ❤❤😊

Beautiful work Paul, looks great, and very good the paint job. I like seeing these old vehicles being restored so people can see and enjoy them in as good a condition as when they were first made. This one is 60+ years old and so you have saved a piece of history which is awesome, you have given the T1a new life.
