Commerce 2024 Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month Event 

In celebration of Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AA and NHPI) Heritage Month, On May 28, 2024, the U.S. Department of Commerce, Office of Civil Rights, and the Asian American and Pacific Islander Employee Resource Group (ERG) hosted a virtual event titled: “Express Yourself: Asian Americans Sharing Their Talents and Experiences in the United States”.
Commerce employees joined moderators Ms. Sharon Williams and Ms. May Cheng (AAPI ERG members) for a panel discussion with guest speakers Yiqiao Wang (Senior Artist and Creative Designer, Gallaudet University), Dr. Sarah-SoonLing Blackburn (Educator, Speaker, Trainer, and Author), and Len Tran (USPTO Supervisory Patent Examiner and Author), on their talents and experiences while living in the United States as an Asian American.
