Unfortunately no. I dont do van tours. 1 there is tackle on there I don't want to publicise an 2 its a shit tip. 🤣 I may do one now you have asked. Just give me a few weeks to sort it out. At the moment it looks like a Friday afternoon job...
Alan try looking around your local NHS hospitals plant rooms and boiler houses or energy centres as they are now called. Just ask our friendly estates department engineers (craftsmen) for a look round you will be in heaven and amazed. There are between 40 to 100 plant rooms at most large hospitals. Great video Lee/Allen Love Belimo valves, there's normally a catch on the disengage button to hold it in. Unless it's broken 😂 It always looks very professional when you put you high/low reading print offs on the boiler, also says you are happy for anyone to look at your work! 😁 I'm not a lover of the aluminium heat exchangers though🙄
Yes I can. Not a problem. Infact one of my sparkies used to be a BMS engineer. He knows a hell of alot more than me if I'm honest. I will ask him next week if he can help out.
Nice Tour, had to condem one of those boilers before Christmas. The seals blew and flames were shooting out. Asbestos is no joke. We have it in our buildings here. Not just in Boiler insulation but also on lots of Air handling, fire Pampers and such. On a lighter Note we should try to have a Mini competition on Allens channel. who works on/with the biggest boilers
@@lizardboy0802 I’ve got me commercial did the change over just for fitting lochinvars in some pub chains for a firm I was subbing for.I’d love to shadow a clued up engineer like you for 6 /12month to get up2 speed with it all sitting a exam and passing is a world away from actually doing it
We could touch on vt and ct circuits too since this is Predominantly a commercial design, I’ve had plant rooms been given the all clear then the next year they get shut down due to new funds, it’s not nice but I tell myself these companies have to keep finding it or they are out of a job
We have log books on site that is just designated to gas. Then we have a 2 gas log book that cover breakdowns and maintenance then the primary book that has copy's of my qualifications, celebrations certs, gas equipment list, consumables used, call out log, asset list, contractor list plus qualifications, gas regs, British standards ect ect. I update it every month.
