I did not do Grocery Shopping at the Commissary when I was in Colorado. Instead I would go to King Soopers for my gluten free food. The only time I did Shopping at the Commissary when I was younger was when I was living on Hickam in Hawaii after Colorado and I would go to the Commissary there and it was very close from my two story House on Gemini Avenue and I walk there sometimes when my mother had a small list and it was right down the street frankly. One day in early 2007 right after my Dad left for Iraq Me and My mother went to the commissary and they were having a drawing. I suggested to my mother to enter the Drawing and sure enough on Valentines day 2007 we won the drawing. One time we had to go back to the front of the store after my mother dropped something. I also went to the Commissary at the Navy Exchange in Pearl Harbor while I was in Hawaii. I also went to the Commissary when I lived at Fort Meade in Maryland for two years when I first starting living in Maryland. I now days do shopping at Wegmans.
I appreciated it while we were here! As far as the way the housing company is when it comes to paying bills it’s been stressful for everyone. Just things not being in order. Overall great experience, it’s super safe. Just spending more money than we’d like too for a family of 2 plus dogs! We have no kids so for us it isn’t worth it rather than apartment living! But if you have a family it’s a really great decision!! The space is Nice! Although everything is kinda far like stores and stuff it’s nicer than most of Aurora!!
@@setty25_ yes, we are a family of 3 with 2 dogs. I’m part of the fb pg for base & i saw so many post about the issues with billing 🙁 it’s crazy they take BAH & utilities. Do the backyards have fences? Or can u get one installed?
They don’t come with fences but you can get them installed people were saying they were paying like $3000 for one! So we never got one! Hopefully the billing thing works out supposedly they’re working on it
@@setty25_ $3k?? lol yea my dogs will have to survive without one HAHA. Fingers crossed they get billing together before we get there. We called the office and they said we qualify for a C1/C2, is that the home your in now? I saw your tour video
