I'm exhausted and maybe my brain is not working correctly. But, it's obviously impossible to change focus while running around like a madman. I am borrowing a Canon EOS R6 and this ZHIYUN gimbal. I'm shooting a trailer using 50mm lens. How do I set the focus so I can zip around in POV mode and keep everything in focus... obviously the new lenses have an AF setting. Do I set that up in the camera before I turn on the gimbal. I didn't seem to be able to make any adjustments when the gimbal was turned on. thank you in advance. I'm wiped out and can't think.
I am so frustrated because I don't understand the movement of the gimbal, Crane 2S. . When I want to, for example, turn around an object and I start to move to the left , my camera is pivoting to the right and vice versa. Each time I do a move into a certain direction the camera is going to the opposite direction. Also, to give another example, when I want to follow a person from the back and this person turns right; the moment I want to turn right as well, the camera goes first to the left before finally move to the direction I initiated... Is this normal? It happens in all modes. Do I get something wrong? It is my first gimbal and a BMPCC 6K Pro is mounted on it. It has also been very hard to balance this camera on the gimbal as well, also because all the adjustments are not smooth to handle especially the tilt. I hope somebody will help me out. Thanks a lot. Ps. sorry for my English
Question. When I removed the quick release plate from the Zhiyun Crane 2s , once I put the camera back, I have to rebalance the gimbal correct? There is not a way of removing the camera for let’s say a battery change and put it back in without rebalancing ?
for that, I usually would go for following troubleshooting steps: 1. check battery status 2. check and update firmware 3. six step calibration 4. correct balancing especially the pan axis demonstrated in this and another video on my channel 5. use lens support if ur camera package uses lens adapters like metabones 6. make sure to use a flexible lightweight cable 7. reduce camera package weight or rig it in a more solid uniform formfactor 8. if all don't work can contact the zhiyun support to send in unit. Hope it helps
@@DannyDHidalgo ok, feel free to check the crane 3s tutorial on six step calibration, I also just got my 2s unit and still going thru it, but in theory it should be the same
Marcel Brandel thank you, I finally performed the 6 point calibration (after some RU-vid video searches) and found that helped slightly but motors still shook terribly, then tried auto and it shook worse when complete, then I pushed the camera all the way to the right with the small rig cage pressing against the motor plate and suddenly the crazy shaking stopped. 🤔🤦♂️🤷♂️
Hi, does the Crane 2S have an active track system similar to RS 2 and RCS 2? I have the Crane 2S Pro, with the Transmount Image Transmitter. But the only option I can get to when clicking the little camera icon is Timelapse.
yes, it has, I showed it in the tutorial vids of Crane 2S, when connected via transmitter you can touch and drag a bracket on your phone, to select the target you want to track
Saw some videos in other languages saying that the crane 2s is more stable than DJI RS2 because the arm is not at a 45 degree angle. Can you confirm this or find out about it?
