Having that quick release is genius!! Been waiting for a gimbal to FINALLY defeat the rebalancing issue. Entry, done. R- I miss so many shots fiddling around rebalancing my gimbal getting our off road footage.

I like that they have the quick release to go to tripod and ability to film vertically for creating stories for social content. The payload capacity alone makes me want to get one, but those two features are and awesome add!

"Entry" "Done" Reason: I am an independent filmmaker who makes surrealist comedies, typically I have all of my shots locked down on a tripod because personally I feel like the hand held look creates a more tangibly realistic quality to it. Hand held is viscerally exciting and can be used so well but its not what I want in my work currently because I'm going for a more detached, nailed in, atmosphere. Currently I can't afford a gimble but I really want one to be able to introduce a sense of movement to my work while also maintaining that sense of detachment that I'm after. Some of my favorite examples of this are the long takes in Birdman and/or the long takes in Children of Men. Thank you for doing this, you guys rock.

That is soooo beautiful!! One of these days I will be able to afford one of those for my tools. The Zhiyun has definitely been on the top of my list since you started reviewing these years ago. I can't believe how far they have come in such a short period of time. You are definitely going to make 2 lucky people so happy! I am so happy for them!!! I think the best feature of this is being able to switch between your tripod and gimbal fast. It may seem like a small feature, but it just makes your life 100 times easier! Everyone knows how annoying it is to balance your gimbal every time. (Is it time to switch from DJI to Zhiyun?!!)

“Entry” “Done” Reason: I’m a R&B recording artist and I’ve been waiting on 3 music videos that I went all the way to the grand Cayman Islands to shoot! Last July! Fast forward a whole year later I still haven’t received my 3 videos yet 😫. So instead of continuing to wait around I spent over 3,500 and purchased most of the equipment I would need for my bmpcc 4K that I’ve had maybe 3 weeks now. I’m literally searching for the perfect gimbal. This is it 😁THANK YOU 🧡7️⃣ P.S my wife and I just had our first child and today marks one month since baby Golden’s arrival. Despite creativity being the most important thing in filmmaking, there is a point where you need some equipment to bring your ideas to life, the Crane 2s is that equipment for me. Also, here in Mexico, most indie filmmakers don't have access to this, so having this wonderful tool will allow me to create art that is almost always exclusive of bigs studios.
