In this video, I talk about mistakes that some Slavic speakers make when they speak English. The truth is that when we learn English as adults, our native language affects the way we speak and use it - from grammar patterns to vocabulary choices to pronunciation challenges. Sometimes we use the wrong word because we translate literally from our mother tongue, and oftentimes we tend to mispronounce words because of vowels and consonants we don’t have in our language.
