Hi Colin, greetings from Bathgate :) First Scottish accent sounds for me like Dutch or Norwegian , definitely sounds more like typical Germanic language then English which sounds is unique. Pinkie is in use in standard English . In my opinion the most common Scottish words are : aye (Yes) and wee( small), ken dae is popular as well, and of course doon (done) and oot (out) , I'm not sure spelling the last ones . I'm looking forward your next video about Scottish words :)
