I am Canadian with CVID. Ive had hospitalizations, lung surgery, and treat at home immunoglobulin replacement therapy. My country believes healthcare is a human right! I have never been presented with a bill, nor battled insurance companies for healthcare. I can't work right now because of Covid. My government supports me with benefit cheques amounting to $2000/month. I am able to self isolate and focus on my health because I am immunocompromised. I do not have to jeopardize my health for groceries or rent! My doctor's have advised me to isolate for the duration of the pandemic and because of the support it's possible. During several key points of this presentation I was made aware of how lucky I am to be Canadian with universal healthcare.
I am studying med school in Turkey. My country provides exclusions most of yours. Expect salary because I’m student. But I have full scholarship from government. We are really lucky especially in pandemic days.
@cassiusredgunhehimhis1530 - I assure you that us in the USA envy you VERY MUCH! Republicans now want to reduce health support and Social Security for our citizens even more. >_
