I did this when i was a kid and learnt alot. the lessons i learnt have been very valuable to me over the years. im now introducing my nephew aged 13 into it and he is very excited. Im please they have started cadets again here in Norwich as it disappeared for quite a number of years. Thanks for this video as i can show my nephew what its all about before he starts.
Yeah i get it, mainly on the instructors behalf. Here in the Welsh YFA (Cant call it that anymore but who cares) if you underrun incorrectly the instructors will be up your ass with "What if it leaks in the truck and damages the equipment?" Even though we use retired equipment
When they did cpr in the video on that doll they did it wrong because the doll is small it would be only 2 finger because it was the size of a baby a child Is a hand adult two hands
We do a lot more than just that, we interact with the community, we attend fun events. In my cadets (Prestatyn YFA) We even attend the Bonfire Night Event and do a bit of work there, we have water fights on warm days, practical drills like a water rescue drill, its quiet fun actually
