For nearly 50 years, the Old Fashioned Donuts Shop has been part of the Roseland neighborhood. On Sunday, looters tried to break in, but the community wouldn't allow it.
@@Pcarnevaaa Small government doesn't mean less police. It means less taxes, less spy technology used against citizens, and less stupid shit. Police are the minimum facility of an effective city government. A few good laws and a good police force. That is all we need.
Wow, so, apparently only it seems that only certain Black Lives Matter, but to hell with a Donut shop owner that is black. I guess to a rioter, criminal, and thugs, Black Lives really don't Matter, or only matter to the leftist agenda of anarchy and choas. This video shows how much a community is willing to step in, despite criminals , and thugs.
@@golddragon8672 Agreed, they dont want justice or peace, justice was already dealt for George Floyd, and peace was established before the rioters broke it. They want free shit, death, and destruction. I mean shit, it's hard to say that there is a "movement" behind it when they are literally killing the people who they are "fighting" for. They need to be dealt with and so far it seems like lethal force would be the only way to stop them
Comment Highlighted cnn’s Chris cuomo said and I quote “ protest don’t have to be peaceful” the mainstream democrats are encouraging these people to do this
My Mom used to take us at the Old Fashioned Doughnuts back when I was a seven year old kid in 1975. I am glad the community came together to stop the scumbag looters. I was very upset when I learned of this, but I am glad they were able to resume business!👍🍩
Good for the community, I love their donuts, been a customer since I was a kid in the 1980s, even if I moved to Hyde Park I still go there. Looters can go rot since they destroyed our stores!
The leftist response to that would be something along the lines of “its only because years of systemic racism has trained and brainwashed the black community to attack its own blah blah blah”
Hey who the hell thought "lets rob this donut shop" I mean what the hell were they going to steal....ingredients, trays, boxes, I mean the money probably in a safe or in the bank Idiots
Talking about looters as if we were talking about a pestering mosquito, like it’s an everyday thing. Shameful to have to live like this. Dear God watch over that man because with Chicago’s mayor, he couldn’t get protection if he needed it.
The neighbors come to help. We need a Federal Concealed Carry Permit (Constitutional Amendments) giving the people the right to protect their loved ones, families, property, businesses from the criminals roaming our communities. They have free reign to do as they please. Everyone appears to be helpless.
Oh my gosh. Not the donut shop. Leave the donut shop alone! That is one of my childhood memories. Every morning before school at St. Willy's. So glad that you are safe.😇
I want to try this guy's donuts. Maybe when I'm in Chicago again or in the states in general. Won't go back there as long as shit hits the fan that bad over there. Maybe it's called panem by then
It' s strange how many people, me included, make fun or cracked joke just because it is a donut shop. Only after watching the old man at work and talking about how he defended the business that he took all his life to create with blood and tears it makes me angry and sad at the same time. Looters are parasites and heartless.
That doughnut shop has been there for years. The doughnuts are great!!! Glad they didn't let them destroy the place, stupid people. Now why would they do that?
Roseland Used to Be a Good Community, a Good Business District on the South Side of Chicago & then Came the Crime, Drugs & Gangs & Body Count. You ask yourself when CTA Decides to Finally get the Red Line Extended to 130th, will Roseland Bounce Back?
The Donut Shop.....Good Gawd.....they don’t leave donuts out overnight do they....they should be made fresh daily unless the looters planed to break in and bake their own fresh batches....OMMFG
