Dennis Banks and Russell Means were very different, yet both dedicated much of their years in this life to fighting for American indigenous people’s rights and betterment. It is now up to younger generations to carry on. His spirit guide will not be too far. RIP.

When I was very young, around 15 maybe 16, I had the biggest crush on Dennis, I had met him and Russell Means a few times at my aunt's sweat lodges. Then at Russell's cousin John's house, Russell had hid at John's after Wounded Knee, and sometimes late at night Dennis would go see him
