I re-watched this episode, and its follow up, hot lava, episode where Troy leaves, after the RU-vid algorithm gods sent me here. They don't do it any time after Abed learns Troy didn't make it up, and when Troy leaves, to never return. S5E1 @19:41, In the resolution to "Repilot" is the last time they do the handshake. In that episode, Troy's mid season departure was foreshadowed by Abed noting that Zach Braff was only in 6 episodes of "Scrubs" season 9 when they 'Repiloted'. Shit ok the last time they do it is actually in the same episode he learns he didn't make it up, immediately before, @S5e04@10:10. I am an idiot. Abed learns 4 seconds later @10:14
Yes. I love this show so much. I love all the characters and I think they are all hilarious. But I realized that Troy is hands down the funniest. Without him, there was a huge void. Don't get me wrong, I still watched. ;)
I get what you mean! I’ve missed seeing as much of his silly side since he left the show. It was also great to see the silliness again when he hosted SNL a couple of years ago.
@@jmedina6625 Pedro Pascal plays a Star wars character called "The mandalorian". Dan makes a slick reference/joke that he probably waited to throw out the entire table read.
I think it’s so funny and heartwarming that Gillian has that cylinder. Like aww she has a little souvenir from her time on the show. But also... eww... of all the props to keep. Lol
I love how Pedro pascal asks the cast how the hell they can get through these things without breaking character or laughing and Yvette just says "well this is us. But we do laugh."
When Pedro laughs at the Abed sperm part, I always fail to hold a straight face omfg. That, and when he says, "Here's a bottle of scotch so you're not tempted to drink this sperm". LMFAO
They couldn’t have picked a better episode for a table read than this classic from season 5. They should also get Pedro Pascal back for the inevitable movie. #reunionandatrilogy
It's one of the few episodes that doesn't have Chevy Chase and can be done with only voice acting because there's not a lot of movement in the episode. A lot of the other good ones from seasons 5 and 6 wouldn't be the same if they were all just sitting in front of microphones, but this one works.
@@vedantshah9480 yep they really made an excellent choice. it's also one that can have pierce hawthorne without the nightmare that is getting chevy chase.
Nothing Special they never said it was confirmed, however they said corona would make it much harder if the actors decided on going with a movie. I hope they add a movie. This was my favorite show
its a bummer that Chevy hates Harmon and the show bc he was such a good foil in those first 3 seasons. The loss of Troy was more devastating but Pierce's loss really lost a bunch of story potential
I think the issues with him and Dan are probably resolved. It was Dan’s idea for him to cameo in the season five opener. They’ll probably never be buddies, but I think they both have moved on from the feud.
@@CharlieBrown20XD6 basically the director of home alone were supposed to make a movie called National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation with Chevy in it. But he is so difficult to work with, that the director ended up scrapping the whole movie, take bits of the plotline, and make a whole new movie which we now know as home alone.
Pedro Pascal is just so sweet and charming and just seems to try to have a good time no matter what. I'd say he has great chemistry with the core cast but I haven't actually seen him have poor chemistry with anyone yet so...
Seeing every original cast member that could realistically come back for a movie in one “place” is really giving me hope for the almighty prophecy coming true, even though this was 2 years ago.
I just finished binging the show last month and it was cool seeing everyone together again; not only real time years later, but also as a group. Too bad about Pierce's actor but at least we still get a big bonus.
Walton Goggins is a pro. Also, everytime I watch Pedro bust up trying to read these lines straight for the first time just puts a huge smile on my face:
Omg, it's crazy how stunningly beautiful the entire cast is. Like everybody is a serious looker. Even at home with. No makeup team and lighting and such. Also, I'd punch a baby to look like Shirley. She's always gorgeous but DAMN GIRL! I never realized how much they frump her character up.
I absolutely love that all these guys still keep in touch. Community truly is a special show, and i really hope one day we get the grand finale. #sixseasonsandamovie
