@Matreintsherde Season 2 episode 17 is "Intro to Political Science" but Chang is not in that episode so I think you meant the other episode by accident. Also, you're right! Chang did have some good moments in the later Seasons but overall, he became insane, scary, evil, and meaner in the later seasons.
Yeah he was a great character who still had some great moments but the show just couldn't find the right role for him after his Spanish teacher role ended

@Carnivorus It's not a necessary reference to teach Spanish, especially when most Hispanics in US do not stay in contact with their Spanish roots of whatever or just know as much Spanish as a WASP

Michael Scarn it actually is more than you would think, but a lot of people wouldn’t know it unless they took a class in that type of stuff. Back in the day it was common to call black people dirty in very demeaning ways for like shampoo ads and stuff. While I will say this show is funny. It definitely is sort of a fucked up joke as well.
Chang had the best story arc of all the characters: Spanish Teacher ➡️ Student ➡️ Paintball Master ➡️ Security Guard ➡️ Chief Security Guard commanding a brigade of children (aka the Changlorious Basterds) ➡️ Dictator of Greendale ➡️ Kevin (Changnesia) ➡️ Prison ➡️ Homeless man living in the vents ➡️ Hollywood Celebrity ➡️ Part of the study group ➡️ Save Greendale Community member

When Chang walks into the room in the Modern Warfare episode with that music playing, i was pissing myself for at least a minute Also basically becomes his Hangover character for a moment

He reminds of one of my teachers in my high school. He makes fun of us but the hour we spend with him is THE BEST AND MOST INTERESTING AND TEACHING of the whole school day. He makes my day.
Chang was so much more fun when he was that badass bully. IF there's gonna be more Community I hope they will manage to turn him into the bully teacher again (I mean, it's about time he graduates and can teach again, right?).
"I play paintball three times a week bro." Something about that line gets me everytime. It somehow brings him back down to earth as a real human, but still absolutely insane
