Here's a video from Helsinki Central Station that some of you wished some time ago. You can notice the white and blue colored fonts on the video as a mark of Finland's independence day held today 6th of December 2014.

Nice compilation. I especially liked the push-pull train. The white and green livery looks good ;)

KolejFilmy Thank you! I like the green-white livery too although many Finnish railwayenthusiasts have said the older red-white livery was much better especially because its easier to see for example in a railway crossing :-) Greetings Tuukka

Tuukka Varjoranta In Poland, the traditional green livery of most of old passenger locomotives was replaced with the new PKP Intercity livery. Nearly every trainspotter complains that they have killed the old railway. The last few engines with the green livery are really willingly spotted by the railfans :D Greetings ;)

Andrew Roy Hi Roy, There's a VR ticket office, a small red brick building at platform 1 on the south-end. Staff in there can assist you if you need any help or you have questions. Many Finns speak very good English and don't hesitate to ask from people on the platform :-) P.S. Keep in mind that the new Tikkurila Travel Center opens 1st of January and the new VR ticket office will open there 2nd of January 2015. The old ticket office will be closed on Tuesday 12/30/2014.
