The drache (dragon, in case ... :D) was actually built from 1941 to 1945 and has been used throughout the war, mostly for transportation of supplies. furthermore, it was the first helicopter to fly a rescue mission under war conditions.
Well, it did have a companion in the Fl-282 'Kolibri' (Hummingbird) which was the first helicopter to be used in combat (as a recon/artillery observer heli), with a STUPID level of power-to-weight due to its intermeshing rotor design. Oh, and thanks to its design it can autorotate immediately instead of fiddling with controls. When the US got their hands on them, it was so easy to fly that a grandma can be taught how to fly it in a handful of hours, that is how the story went.

Pretty cool to have a Focke-Achgelis drop in paratroopers, however it seems that this was never the roll they were actually used as in reality (also the Nazi's apparently only produced 20 of them). Still pretty snazzy to see one in the game, easy to forget they existed in WWII.
Oi Sherman, will you play the Great War mod for Coh 1? Also, I read in wikipedia (yes, in wikipedia) that the Drache actually saw some participated in the Mussolini rescue and in a mountain to save some people, along with carrying fuselage, wreckage and other stuff, but in every ocassion it broke down.Aside from that it flew over the English channel after the war.
Hello!! I do believe that the Germans did indeed use their helicopters. They had two: that one and a lighter one designed for reconnaissance although only a couple hundred were used (the Germans originally intended for there to be more, but they could not afford it). Panzer Elite's First Defensive Upgrade is very slow it's more effective to just have medics nearby also Sherman why don't you make Officers and KompanieFuhrers? You can have them supervise to increase production

It had an even funnier Name heulende Kuh/ Yowling cow. Nebelwerfer was the Official name for unknown reasons it already existed in WW1 as a grenadelauncher and was improved to a rocket Launcher During WW2. Theory number 1: The developers name was Nebel Theory number 2: It was planed to launch chemical weapon with it (They create fog, Poison fog) Theory number 3: It is a camoname such as tanks. I prefer Theory number 2 cause it was common to use gas in WW1, and in addition to that, when a single projektile is creating a killzone of many squaremeters by a gascloud it would be senseless if all projektiles would hit the same spot. The americans call it moaning minnie. XD

I like CoH 1 than 2 cause for me CoH 1 has better graphics than CoH2, looks more realistic to me, don't get me wrong CoH2 is cool cause of all the new stuff but I don't know why I like CoH 1 than 2 :/
also the way the V1 and V2 worked, it woul take several hours for them to arrive at their target in-game, and they certainly weren't precision weapons lol.
