"Comparative Study of Current Flow in Nichrome and Constantan Wires in a Meter Bridge"
In this experiment, a meter bridge is used to compare the resistance of two different types of wires, nichrome and constantan. The meter bridge is a simple electrical device that consists of a long wire, usually nichrome, with a gap in the middle. The gap is bridged by a sliding contact called a jockey. By adjusting the position of the jockey, the length of the wire used as the resistor can be varied, allowing the experimenter to measure the resistance of different materials.
